Kava Wax

So I got some Kava wax from Appalachian herbs. There are 3 types he sells and I got some of each around memorial day. These extracts are made using no solvents and are co2 extracted. And boy will they rock your world. I was new to kava and this just seemed like the easiest way to get into them. Ok, so the 1st one is his gold standard it is semi runny dark brownish amber colored. 60% Kavalactone content. Just take some on the edge of a spoon or plastic knife is what I use and apply it under your tongue(don't use too much this stuff is powerful). First thing you'll notice is it's numbing properties as it will numb the f#ck out of your mouth. A few minutes later you will notice the calm sweep over you. This is exactly what I was looking for. I've been trying to discontinue ambien and this stuff is helping for sure. Ok, the second two are both 80% extracts one is yellow and the other is red. Now be extra careful with these one's folks as They add an even bigger kick. The yellow one is thicker and grainier whilst the red one is a tad smoother in texture. Now I got the grams in the small ones and 25g in the 60%. They are fantastic and no real work involved. To boot he also sells Speciosa I haven't bought any yet but he did send about a 30gram sample on the house and it was a quality burn. If your curious about kava but like me don't want to put in the time I think these extracts are a great way to experience the Kava effect.

I had some 85% kavalactone wax a while back.
Until I got used to it a pea sized amount would put me to mandatory nap for a bit.
Most earthy tasting think I've ever had, in a good way.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I've heard using concentrates can be a bit more risky because it concentrates any impurities or toxins as well.

Yes. One should absolutely source their concentrates carefully. You want it to be extracted from root and core, and done using CO2
The tops of the plant can have toxins. And using alcohol to extract is shown to have high concentration of a hepatoxic chemical.
Note i'm no doctor or anything. Not meant as medical advice. But from my understanding all core and root + CO2 are the two most important things when sourcing kava extracts.

My experience with this vendor's kava extract was... well, nothing hit, even when taking Goliath amounts. It was really weird, as I've had some background with kava use, though not an expert. Customer service was good, the owner was willing to talk about it. He has great prices. I would ask him about returns prior to ordering.
