Texas Family Harvest - 4 Different Reds!

Post by The Relaxed Guy »

I recently received my order for a split kilo from Texas Family Harvest.

I decided to get all red strains since reds have been working super well for me lately - plus TFH’s reds have been superb in my experience.

In previous orders, I’ve already tried the Wild Red Sumpur M5 and 30 Year Wild TFH. Both of which were easily top 5 best strains I’d ever had. They were so good I didn’t even need to mess with blends or rotate strains. I think I took the Red Sumpur 3-4x a day everyday for like 2 weeks. It was just so good I didn’t see any need to use any other strains.

The Red Sumpur was probably the best strain I’d ever tried at that time (I’ve been using Kratom for 4-5 years). Just incredible euphoria that lasts hours, perfect in the morning or the evening. And the 30 Year Wild TFH was a hit with pretty much everyone who got an opportunity to try it, for good reason. Both were easy 10/10s.

I’d also tried one that I think was called Red Jungle MD which was good as well.

So anyways, I decided to grab 4 totally new red strains this time. They were:

Red Aceh - KG24
30 Year Wild Red - IR3
Wild Red TFH - WM12
Super Red Sunda - A13

And the reviews are as follows:

Red Aceh - KG24

A super high quality, standout fast red. As someone who likes fast reds, and energetic/euphoric kratom in general, this is a gem. I’ve tried each of the 4 strains in this split several times now and I can officially say this is my favorite. I’ve never tried an “Aceh” - despite seeing the name around a lot - but it’s really good. Super clean, energizing mood boost. Euphoria for days... yet still with all the pain relief and anxiolysis one would expect from a quality red vein.

Two main things I want to emphasize about this strain are:

1) Freshness. I’ve heard people refer to kratom as “fresh” before, but never really had an experience where I would say “wow this is fresh!” But this one is. There’s a fresh, somewhat good smell when you open the bag. And it tastes clean. Don’t know how to explain it beyond that

2) “Clean” effect profile. The euphoria and energy are very pure and in no way make you feel like you’re artificially getting kicked into gear. It feels very genuine... as if you just coincidentally began having a wonderful day after taking the kratom. As a result, you can take a lot more than your usual dose before you start to feel like you’re “on kratom” (slight drowsiness, headache, etc).

Overall 11/10 (this strain broke the 10 point ranking system. Leave it to Texas Family Harvest to leave you dumbfounded just when you think you’ve figured out what a “10” is)

30 Year Wild Red - IR3

This one and the Red Aceh are my two favorite of the batch. I rank the Red Aceh slightly ahead because it seems to be a tad bit faster... but this one is good too. I personally can’t tell it apart from the 30 Year Wild TFH - IR14, but that’s not a bad thing, because as we all know, the 30 Year Wild TFH was fire.

It has good energy, strong mood boost, and is just an overall outstanding kratom strain, regardless of color.

9.5/10

Super Red Sunda - A13

This one was my least favorite of the split kilo. Not because it’s bad, but because it’s slower... and I just don’t really like slow reds. Nonetheless it’s still very high quality, fresh, potent, and I would consider it to be an absolute standout if received from 80% of vendors nowadays. Hell, just 5 months ago before I discovered TFH, if I received this strain I’d probably be on here writing a review recommending it to people.

It has a good mood boost for a slow red, there’s some euphoria. But it’s very relaxing and, well... it’s a slow red. What more can I say? A super high quality slow red, but a slow red nonetheless.

8/10

Wild Red TFH - WM12

A super high quality, mid-fast red. Mood boost, pain relief. Honestly just a super multi-purpose strain. Can’t really think of anything this strain wouldn’t be good for. I personally find this one to be the “can’t shut the :o up” strain of the batch. Perfect for getting your thoughts flowing before doing some writing, or a phonecall with someone you don’t wanna talk to.
