Hello , I am a new member here but have checked out this site off and on for 2 years. I have a review I’d like to post . It’s what I’d do !! No affiliation to vendors I Review just my passion to share my experience with the products I tried. I’m a member on Ilovekratom community forum, greendust society and Mitra Movement ... the latter two on discord app... I’m well aware of what shilling is, so hope there’s appreciation for reviews here and that said .. haters will be haters ..!! I love Kratom, been utilizing for over two years ... saved me from chronic pain and the depression and anxiety that eventually came with it .... I don’t know all the rule here but just welcoming any and all to check out ilovekratom.... very friendly with knowledgeable folks ... thanks hope you find this helpful

I found out about
Otie’s Botanical from another forum but contacted him after welcoming him to the ILK family after he posted on a thread .
He’s a very respectful vendor that has respectable quality kratom. Here’s a review of the 3 strains I tried !!

Super GMD

Very nice smell and fine grind,
Stronger taste and very potent in pain relieving , moodlifting qualities ...and a nice calming but energetic feeling. Im very happy with this strain as it gave me a lasting relief from my aches...knocking out the tension and stress in my mucles and bones. I think this strain would be great for midday or early evening dose... strong in the ways I like , solid strain with long legs .A nice ... happy ... and lovely one to try !!!

White indo
Good fine grind and fresh smell with a decent amount of bitterness.... but what sweet effects it gave me !!! ....
.....this is a long lasting white with a great deal of moodlift and packs a decent level of pain relief as well. Smooth progression of effects that felt strongest after the 1.5 hr mark, and kept on going solidly for a little over 4 hrs . A very well rounded white , no jitters or rough edges ...

Red Bali
Nice earthy , almost spent fruit smell, good grind

Tastes almost like a bentuangie, fermented like a very soft/ light pipe tobacco or dried overripe fruit .... just what comes to my mind when tasting.... very pleasant taste and a predominately relaxing quality with that classic Kratom underlying bit of energy .

Otie’s Botanicals is another solid vendor to get quality kratom for a great price . Their Super MD was my favorite out of the three I tried ... I look forward to trying more.....

Thanks for this review and welcome to Double M! I've been thinking about trying Otie's and the Green MD would be first in my cart. The White Indo sounds promising, too. I've been appreciating whites more and more but they can't be too jittery. In addition to chronic pain, I also deal with panic and anxiety.

Otie's Red Bali and W. Indo are both standout strains in my opinion. I went through my initial small order quickly and just re-uped with larger quantities of both. The W. Indo is one of my favorite whites now and the Red Bali is a stimulating daytime red that also works well as a relaxing evening red. Good leaf!

3 purchases overall from Otie's Botanicals. Each purchase was shipped promptly same day of order or the next day. A large 2 kilo order was shipped in a sturdy hard box.

As far as his product, I find it exceptional, especially his greens.

Overall a great experience each time. I wouldn't hesitate to reorder and I definitely recommend this vendor.

I was just about to leave a review for Otie’s as well!

I take 1.5g 1x/day occasionally I’ll take .5 later in the day if I’m anxious and have to go somewhere. That being said, I take it for anxiety and depression ( and all the bs that comes with it). Generally speaking I don’t “feel” much but it takes care of the problem for me.

I got a 4 way split kilo and I felt them 10 minutes after I dosed. The super gold is perfectly balanced for me. Calm but awake and euphoria. Yellow Borneo is a great strain but VERY relaxing for me. So no cleaning the house after my dose but perfect for high anxiety days. I’ve also mixed with white and it’s perfect. I did not try the Red Gold yet or the Gold Bali because I want to keep them closed. I’m very impressed that I feel it as much as I do. I’ve purchased a lot of kratom from a lot of different vendors and I’m very happy with my purchase.

The customer service was amazing. They forgot to include a couple samples they promised and mailed them separately. That’s a first, I’ve been promised samples almost every time from different vendors and never received them. They sent red Bali and white indo (also a green but those give me anxiety so I don’t want to try) I mixed them and I felt amazing. Perfect for work.

All in all I’m impressed all around. Great kratom and great customer service.

First time trying Otie’s
I got 3 ounces White Hulu, Super Green and Black Bali.

White Hulu - 4.5/5.0
Fantastic. Loved everything about it. Would buy again.

Super Green - 4.25/5.0
Same as the White Hulu just a little less legs. Fantastic and fresh. Everything I expect from a Green. Would buy again.

Black Bali - barf/5.0
This is where I had a big problem. Took my normal teaspoon amount. I keep my tolerance low with Agmatine, so one teaspoon tends to work for me. I felt nothing. An hour later I tried another teaspoon but was reluctant because I wasn’t feeling that good. Felt even worse after the second teaspoon. Still not at the point of barfing. So an hour later tried what would be my last teaspoon for the day. That pushes me over the edge. Threw my guts up 4 times over the next 2 hours. Had to lay down. Spinning. Blurred vision. Stomach pains. Headache. Went to sleep and felt good the next day. Switched back to the White Hulu and Super Green. Was happy again.

After 2 days I wanted to see if the Black Bali was the culprit in making me sick. Almost an identical repeat of the 3 days prior. No effect. Nauseous. Gradually got worse with each teaspoon. The Black Bali just didn’t agree with me. Threw up again multiple times. Feverish. All the same gross feelings I had from the 3 days before.

Im not mad really, because the White Hulu and Super Green were really good and made up for the bad experience with the Black Bali. Sort of. I know I didn’t taken too much. I keep a close eye on my GPD and my tolerance. It just didn’t agree with me and was completely ineffective. Unless throwing up is the effect your looking for.

I’m certainly not bashing Oties. I was totally pleased with the other two strains. Delivery and packaging are very professional. I’ve heard great things and read great reviews. So I was anxious to try Oties. I’ll note that I have heard a couple complaints about Black Bali and other Black strains like Black MD being completely ineffective. Black Bali just sounded good to me and I wanted to try it. Oties is still in my list of top vendors even with this terrible experience with the Black Bali.

I sent an email to them explaining the problem. It’s been a few days and still haven’t heard back from them. That’s a bit concerning. I’m not looking for anything free. I understand the fickle nature of Kr8tm. So I’ll just be writing this off as a learning experience. However, I did want to bring it to their attention. I thought they should know and would want to know. Maybe I just can’t tolerate Black strains. Or it’s something in the ferment process that doesn’t agree with me. I’m just guessing at this point. But I thought they should know about my experience. Otherwise I strongly recommend these guys.

Overall impression, all thing considered, a very strong 4 out of 5. I’d like to give a higher overall review, but I’ll need to try some of their other strains first.

Hey viper. I just checked the email and I don't see anything from you. What's your email address maybe I can find it that way. We're super on top of the emails. The best way to manage is to just completely stay in front of it. If you don't think I can be really overwhelming. The black does NOTHING for me. Like at all. I take some. Then 20 minutes later I got to take something else. Every time. The reason why we decided to keep it it's because we have a lot of people who do like it. Which is beyond me lol but mostly in our Facebook group there's people in there at that I have said it's one of the most sedating and best strains they've ever had. So we decided to keep it. But I'm with you. It didn't make me feel nauseous or anyting, it just didn't do anything for me. Reds and anything fermented don't work for me. Please don't forget to show me your email

I did receive your email reply. Thanks for the kind and generous response. Like I said, my experience with the Black Bali was just a learning experience. I’m apparently ultra sensitive to fermented strains. The Bentuangie strains don’t work for me either. I look forward to trying some of your other offerings.

I had asked for some recommendations in my email reply. Whatever Best Sellers or Otie’s staff favorites you could recommend would be great. I’ll be placing another order soon and thanks again for the great response.

I lost several of my preferred vendors recently due to the very common and unfair issues that vendors are experiencing. Some were very small and rather unknown and just couldn’t survive the ridiculously unfair limitations and restrictions forced on them. So I’ve been checking out a bunch of new vendors recently and I keep coming back to Otie’s to use as a benchmark. You guys have a great thing going. I’m definitely a new raving fan of Otie’s and have recommended you to a few friends already. Best Regards.

I guess I'm lucky in that the Black Bali works really well for me, as do other fermented strains.

But if you want something from Otie's that has pretty widespread acclaim, and which is similar in effect to what people hope for from the Black Bali, try their Gold Bali. Works like a charm for me, every time, as a go to relaxing, and mood pleasing, strain. Good pain relief as well, and without being obtrusively sedating.

Very similar to what I got from Nick over at Soflo.

But the real star of Otie's lineup was the Super Green Malay, imo. I say "was" because with all varieties of Kratom there's so much variance batch to batch, and I can't swear to what's currently getting shipped to Otie's. Lol, I'm still on the last quarter kilo from the split key I ordered a month or so back.

But afaik it's probably still as good as ever, so I'd consider it.

P.S. I was reading that heavily fermented strains often undergo a closely guarded process that involves the use of some other botanicals. Stuff you can buy at Amazon, so safe for human consumption, but maybe not everybody's cup of tea.

I wanted to post and share my experience of Oties Black Bali has been all positive - It is probably the most sedating strain I have tried. It is without a doubt the most fermented I have had - something to be aware of since it would not surprise me that would affect people differently overall, stomach included. Maybe try a good tea and strain a super fermented strain like this and compare the difference. I've used this Black Bali to put myself to sleep like a baby several times and it has good pain killing qualities.

Actually I mention the tea idea because with this strain I tried a "red bubble" ice cube and I took it out too early before the cube fully froze - well the cube cracked and the inner "tea / extract" poured out without the frozen leaf. It was one of the most enjoyable night caps I've had in a long time.

I really like their White Hulu. I just got their new White Dragon, White Indo, White Kali and Super Green. I’ve only tried the White Dragon so far. Yowza Wowza!!! Fasten your seatbelt. One of the best Whites I’ve had in 3 years. Such a great vendor in every regard.
