Mystic Island

I’ve seen a lot of chatter about Mustic Island elsewhere but no review topic, so here we go!
I got my hands on the Gandalf and Green Maeng Da earlier this week (as a lucky winner
), although I haven’t tried the Maeng Da yet, I can say the Gandalf is some amazing stuff! It’s fast but not jittery, with a really nice mood boost and even gave me a little euphoria. Overall I’d say it’s between a 7 and 8 out of 10, I have to try it a few more times to get a definite opinion, but the quality is very nice. I ranked the speed 7/10 (from slow to fast, 10 being fastest) and for duration 8/10. Wouldn’t hesitate to order more Gandalf personally.
Haven’t tried the GMD or the green/white sampler yet, but I’ll update this post when I do

Yesterday I tried out the Green Maeng Da, unfortunately I'm not as impressed with this one. It could just be that I was having an off day at the time, bad chemistry maybe, so I'll give it another shot later and post an update if my opinion changes.
This afternoon I tried out the Green/White blend, which is very nice
I like the Gandalf the most out of all three, but this blend is very uplifting, energetic and overall I'd say it's a 7/10, good quality kratom.
Mystic Island was very generous with their giveaway, and with these two quality options, I would recommend Mystic to anyone whose curious

I agree with Rambo about the Gandalf & the White/Green. Both are good with good energy & mood boost. I think Will said the White/Green will be on the menu soon. Both are now part of my daily rotation.

Yipes - I don't want to try any MORE vendors but I have to admit that "Gandalf" is the best name for a kratom blend I've ever seen.
(I can just visualize him with his pipe, smoking it).

I received a few samples from them when they came back, and I didn't get much from any of them. I didn't get the gandalf though.

So I got free samples and purchased a few ounces of ones whose names struck my fancy. I posted about these, but i dunno what happened to those posts.. here are more and more in depth.
super green - typical green
vampire - meh
posiedent's trident - needs higher dose, i feel the potential in this
gandalf/white wizard - a kicking white that really hits with mood enhancement
mystic dwarf - i'll circle back to this one
apparently mystic island is making a real comback with good kratom.

I’ve still got a bunch of the old 2018 bangers. I’d love to see them come back with some fire.

So as I am paring down the stock, I still had 5 25g samples, none of which had hit for me enough to give it a strong review.
My tolerance has dropped some, and I decided to take 2.5g of Super Green.
Not much of an effect at first, then a twinge of awakening at 30minutes later. I decide to take an additional 2.5g.
Effects are nice, not bowling me over, but a steady relaxation. It's quality kratom.
Their phatcracker (just the name is so superb) has me interested but I don't have enough for a full burn, as I sampled from it on earlier runs. Similarly, Vampire has only a bit left, as I really wanted it to hit, but no go.
Next up will be Mystic Dwarf. I really like the creative naming, it's much better than just the same ol' indo names and colors.. but if you're gonna call something 'Phatcracker,' put a description for it, like 'mix of green and white that will have you breathing fire,' or something so we know what to expect and pick. I very much like creative names, though.

Here's the story behind it:
Phatcracker was or is the reddit handle of a customer who came up with the blend and mentioned to them how impressed he was with the outcome. They whipped some up and tried it- loved it, launched the product in his honor by naming it after him.
I don't expect it can be the same as it was - which included some intense varieties. The reds! I wasn't nto reds much then but those won me over big time- very handy when winter came around. Whites, Yellow Topaz (fast! noortropic) They put the F in the FAF. Like stuff I got sent direct from someone over yon. Not impressive looking but Pow. To me it was all best as blend ingredients that set off other stuff nicely. And it was perfect that way. I can hope. Gonna try them again.
