Many times I've tried a new green or red that's given me the wobbles & I can take a 1/2 dose of this & find relief fairly quickly. So anyone else out there, if you've been searching for a purely sedating red, give this one a try.

I’m experiencing WDs, after gulping down like three heaping tablespoons out of desperation. Never in 4 years have I gotten a strain so bunk, that it doesn’t at least curb WDs. It’s the only strain I have right now, and I’m just kinda fudged.

I’m a daily user, and of course understand that physical WDs come with that, but I’d like to at least be aware of when I’m gonna have to go through WDs. You know, plan a taper or schedule time for a CT. This is just totally unexpected for a strain to be utterly bunk. It’s like it has zero alkaloids in it.

Someone else in this thread already came in to say they got the same batch of Royal Bent and it was bunk for them as well.

But yeah, @breathappening, can I just confirm that it really does work for you? I mean, if it really truly does work for you, I’ll at least keep trying, because it will give me a glimmer of hope that there may a single alkaloid somewhere in this bag of plant material. But I just to want to clarify if it really works for you or if you’re just being polite to Herbal RVA. Cause I’m about ready to make the 1500 mile round trip drive to go get some new kratom. I live in a banned state, and the only person I know who will let me order it to their house is 700 miles away. So when I order an entire kilo, and it turns out to be bunk, it’s pretty damn infuriating to go through that hassle only to be stuck with an entire kilo of some absolute garbage.

I mean, if I get a good batch, it’s worth the hassle. I need kratom, it’s a necessity for me. But I’m just getting so unlucky lately. I did SO MUCH research before my last order, easily 18 combined hours, before picking Herbal RVA based on the suggestions I read on this site. Carefully picked the best reviewed strains. Even emailed the owner. And I just got unlucky I guess, because these strains SUCK. Literally the day after my order, someone posted a thread on this site saying Herbal RVA got a “new shipment”, and it suggested the old shipment (the one I ordered from) was bad. My luck I guess right? Turns out that was the case, based on these bunk strains.

I’m also frustrated because I feel like people are too politically correct on this site to just admit when a vendor has bunk strains. Like we need to be polite, because the vendor is a friendly person and we had a good experience with them once. Ah oh well. I digress.

Can anyone recommend a vendor with reliably good kratom? NOT a vendor who’s friendly to you, but a vendor with LEGIT, good kratom. BB? SoCal? Like, if you were forced to pick ONE vendor, who would it be?

Sorry for the edginess, I’m just a fellow kratom user who’s currently in the gutters, in need of good kratom. If I could pay you for advice on a good vendor, I would. I’d be so, truly, deeply grateful of anyone who can just point me in the direction of the best kratom they know. I’m gonna get a kilo, split 4 ways if possible to reduce risk of being stuck with a bunk strain. But yeah, advice appreciated.

I understand where you're coming from, and I sympathize. No need for apologies. Withdrawals suck. I support and encourage honesty in saying you don't like certain strains or vendors. The only reason I defended RVA in the other thread was because I thought the guy's reasoning for his kratom actually being stem and vein and not red maeng da was faulty.

Yes, I can confirm that the 102018 batch of royal bent works for me. It's not a standout, but it's good average kratom. Believe me, I have no allegiance to RVA, and I have received batches from them that don't work for me. They just have a high success rate for me, and I am typically satisfied with my purchases. If that royal bent isn't working for you, I doubt continuing to take it would be worthwhile. But I don't blame it on being bunk kratom (not to say shitty kratom doesn't exist), but a lot of times one batch or strain just doesnt work for someone. And that same strain may be someone's favorite. Kratom's weird that way. That's why I suggested to try to swap/sell it, because that 102018 may work really well for someone and may be the exact batch someone is seeking out.

Also, taking 20 grams may not be a good idea. Have you tried taking less? Like maybe half your usual dose? I know it's counterintuitive, but kratom contains both agonists and antagonists, and more does not always mean better. Taking a huge dose may actually be working against you.

Edit: in fact, while I’m here, I’ll just say my entire order from that batch was underwhelming. I got a split kilo: 2 PMDs, a RMD, and royal bent. As stated above, the bent is utterly ineffective. The PMD was almost bunk, but I used it anyways because it’s all I had. Eye wobbles horrible if you take anything over 5g. Under 5g and the effects were so subtle, you barely notice.

The RMD from that batch was acceptable, wish I just got 4 of those now. The RMD was actually what you expect out of kratom: mood boost, pain relief, etc. Still not great, but a solid 7/10. The PMD was maybe a 3/10 and the Royal is 2/10. I reserve 1/10 scores for strains that are both bunk AND result in sickness.

I’m stuck with just the royal bent now, since I finished the others first. I’d order more Kratom but it’s very inconvenient for me due to geographical reasons. So when I get a bad batch, I’m stuck with that batch for a while. Herbal RVA has really let me down here. I understand the price is low, and the guy who runs the site is nice. But that shouldn’t cause people to be too politically correct to call out Herbal RVA if they need to. My experience, was bad. That’s just me, but it was bad. The strains are bad, and for the first time in 4 years I’ve experienced a truly bunk strain. I thought I experienced a bunk strain from hs a year ago... well not anymore. Herbal RVA has shown me what a truly bunk strain is like. Sorry for any negativity in this comment, I hate to be negative in a kratom forum. But maaan. This Royal Bent is bunk.
