Acadica has new stock of green and white Hulu and white Kali. If anyone orders from the new batches PLEEEEEASE leave a review. I really wish they offered slightly smaller sizes for sampling I just can't blindly buy 250g without reading a cleverly worded description from the vendor or at least one review.... Especially when there's at least 4 strains I want to try!
I'm usually happy with acadica but the last batch of green and white hulu I got from them was super disappointing.

When was that? Acadica made a BIG deal, of their re-stock in late November.. fresh off the trip to West Kalimantan. I, like many, scrambled to order quick before it was Sold Out!

I guess the overall impression is... under-whelming? The famous White Kali was NOT as good as previous batches. Within a week, full 250g bags of Green Kali, were posted on MeWe Swap Sell. Any takers? Wow talk about negative hype.. IDK what's the problem here? He returned from Borneo with sub-par kratom? They shipped him their average leftovers? Maybe "all kratom" is just average now.. compared to 2017 ?? Wasn't bad just meh. Average leaf. No complaints I guess since it was super cheap.

I know the Indo suppliers he is working with in Ponti. The same suppliers who produce hits like Big Bang, Nugroz, Wild Green, etc. Yes, very high expectations, based on his 2017 stuff.. Remember Acadica was OOS for much of 2018, went through the FDA mess, and finally got back in business. Wish him good luck in 2019, but he's going to need some Top Shelf kratom.. soon.. otherwise just be another cheap bulk vendor.

Did you only have a good first burn from it? I recall you saying it was legendary and best youve had in a long time or something along those lines. But yeah.. I thought it was below average also. And if that's what he came back from Indo with and tested and considers that good than Im good on buying from Acadica.

I wouldn't say the hulus I got a few months ago were "bad", they didn't make me feel bad or anything or give me the wobbles. They were just underwhelming. Nothing against acadica, underwhelming leaf seems to be common right now. I guess it's the season? I just wish they would offer ANYTHING smaller than 250g for trying out new stock
