Well after a long weekend the pack has landed. I'll edit this post with a proper review after I burn them. Here is a pic of the 2 I ordered:

White Jongkong [sounds like king kong]
Green Malay both 100gram'ers

I opened the Green and I have to say they pack these to the tippity top, be careful opening these they make a dust cloud!

Green Malay:
Took half a coffee spoon of the green and omg the taste is bitter. The most bitter I've ever had. If you cap yours, you may really want to cap these.

Green Malay
I prefer this strain over the White strain I had. This works quicker and better for my body. I found I could take less and feel more than with the White. The taste was really bitter though, more than any other I've had.
Last 4-6 hours, found myself redosing every 6-8.

White Jongkong
This strain made me more agitated than any other I've had. I found myself snapping at people. I didn't see any heart rate changes while on it. It didn't really act like a stimulant as I was expecting as I've heard White strains are like pure energy adrenaline, not for me with this one. I got use to the agitation and could over rule it but this wouldn't be my go to strain.


Ordered 2 more greens to try from the same vendor to test out.

Green Sekayam
This is better than the previous 2 I've ordered. Darker taste not as bitter and hits harder and lasts a bit longer. Found I redose less while taking this strain.

I'm exceedingly curious as to how RVA's Red Elephant compares to
Smiley Time's or Treasure House's Red Elephant! I've found both to
be outstanding!

Got some of RVA’s Elephants last year - Green and Red. The Green was really good, but I didn’t care for the Red. Just too damned sleepy. I do love Treasure House’s Elephant though. Sadly, I think we’ve seen the last of it and the Piamans.

Ordered 100s of the Red Elephant and Bali after seeing this post. I haven't ordered from RVA for a while, was past due.

Please do let me know if yours are bitter than others you've had, the green is the most bitter kratom I've tasted,though still good.

the stuff I get from RVA is often bitter to the extreme...especially the greens (Which coincidentally (?) don't do too much for me). Is there anyone expert enough to say what this usually means? The first time I got it I almost thought about emailing for a return or something...thought it was off! The reds are great though also that PMD can't be beat

Kratom in general has a bitter taste to it. I don’t toss and wash because it’s pretty nasty to me. I’ve become acclimated to the smell though and now I really like it. The teas I make come out kinda tasty and almost a hint of sweet, but varying levels of bitterness.

Some kratom is just going to be more bitter than others - I don’t think it means it’s weaker or stronger or tainted or prepared wrong or dirty. Fermented stuff tastes way worse to me. I’ve had really bad tasting stuff give great effects and also good tasting stuff not work - and vise versa.

I judge how fresh or stale or clean or dirty kratom is by the smell, but I don’t have much to base that on. Like, I don’t really know what that measures. I assume fresher and cleaner smelling is better, but maybe that’s wrong.

If it doesn’t work great for you and the taste is bad, then sell it - but if it works and tastes bad, try oblate discs or pouches.

Has anybody tried his Super Green #2?

I have tried a couple batches (one from 2018 and one a couple months ago) good mid-fast green !

Received a 4 way split kilo last week. Super green is way above average as is the red Maeng da , the white Asia, and the gold meant da. The gold is best for bedtime as I found it quite sedating. High quality kratom and well packaged in gold containers.

P.S. as for being bitter I have no idea. I use oblate discs.

I have no idea. I have not tried smileytime. I have bought from over 10 different vendors and this is one of the top ones.

ordered some sekayam to try. Updated the top with more info. Wasn't a fan of the white but it could be just the strain doesn't mix well with me.

The green kutai is really good. It's a nice, fast, green, almost like a white but but more kick to it. It speedy and euphoric, which I really like in a white light green (whereas dark greens I love slow and euphoric.) The GK still seems to be increasing in efficacy, it's not one of those where you get the most bulk of potency all at once, it kicks strong at first then builds, this has more legs, it even has a pronounced body high felt mainly in the chest. I really can't overstate the potency at my window enjoying this languid overcast day. I feel like I could keep writing but I kinda just want to feel the pleasantry of standing up in the cool light breeze, any questions welcomed but I don't foresee many. Even average pain relief. Enjoy this free days folks, hope the sun stays down over all a 9 or 10

not bitter at all, actually quite "benty" tasting.

both are pretty much meh strains, elephant is good to round out a faster strain though.

love the dude, but his prices are insane, would really like to try his extract though and see if its any good.

What's everyones top strain for Greens from RVA? The jungle's are pretty good.

have some green hulu that i have only tried twice and is pretty meh to me.

and a super green that i have tried once that didnt do anything.

just got in their new green jong kong and it is awesome!

reminds me a lot of the one from bb last november. been mixing it with pmd from earlier this year, and get that, everything is awesome, feeling. definite mood boost for sure.

I'm waiting for a restock because as far as I can tell he's not restocked in MONTHS and I don't know why. I check every three days and it's the same strains which leads me to believe they're nothing special otherwise they'd be sold out.

2 weeks ago I bought 250g of Red Bali that was quite unremarkable so until I'm sure his stock is fresh I'm holding off on more.

I would say that the reason that he hasn't sold out is because he shipped in a huge
amount of inventory!

I don't have a facebook account cuz I'm not a fan...too much drama, too much
all 'round BS! Anyway, my wife has an account that I rarely use to check up to see
what the folks on the RVA site are saying.

"We now have a good base level of kratom inventory on hand (10 tons). We will be
now in position to weather medium to large size impacts to imports."

That's a lot of leaf! I can't speak to the quality though since I've only made one order
since March (I just had to try the recent "Original PMD" offering)!

Well, I guess that explains one aspect. I read elsewhere that he was supposed to be restocked with many of the favorites (such as PMD) which I want to try buy are currently sold out.

Well I don't get it, I've been specifically looking for his (highly regarded) PMD, and White Big Bang but they're nowhere to be found.

OK so.. 6 Weeks Later.. his original PMD Sold Out - in like 3 days? Is that right? My comment is that iirc his "original supplier" WAS Kratom Crumbs. Yes the same K.C. who has always been B.B.'s PMD supplier Lot 12... Many will remember when RVA, switched suppliers and (yes, over 1 year ago!) and.. that switch was not better, quality wise - Sounds like he's heard some rumblings from customers ? Gee we'd sure like some better quality uhh.. guess we'll see how those 10K kilos shake out? Time Will Tell
