Giving KOG another shot....

So as some of the "senior" members here may know that i have seemed to have an issue with KOG strains no matter what type. I order what I recall to be like a 9 or 10ounce sampler last year and literally none of my selections did much of anything for me whether immediately or after shelving for awhile and trying again later. All good, I can totally understand some leaf just not being for me, NBD!! BUT! Since then, I have read many astounding reviews and seen numerous new and unique strains added to their already huge selection......

Fast forward and here I am 1 year later trying to give another fair shot when I can get my hands on specific strains I've been enticed by. Last month maybe even 2 months ago I snagged an ounce of KOG Green Melawi from one of the beloved fire batches and honestly yet again was not impressed..... Not a total did as before but not impressed either. Okay still NBD, keep trying, and decided to shoot for more Red Veins as they are usually my go-to and my first love anyways hahaha. This week I received KOG Dark Elephant from the July batch as part of a sampler also but gambled and doubled that strain for a 50g bag and I'm extremely happy I did!!!!! This is one of the hardest hitting, most sedating, warming, pain numbing, and euphoric strain I have ever tried no less right off the bat with first dosing  The main reason I was interested in this strain was due to the love that I've found for Soultanic's Dark Elephant that lots of us recently missed out on yet again, but now I don't even care. My sorrow of missing out has been washed away and my hope for enjoying KOG strains has been restored!!!!

Long story short/moral of it all is don't give up of reputable respected vendors due to a few strain not hitting as expected/hoped for. Keep trying, and certainly don't bash said vendor in that scenario either. I did leave reviews at the time with honest opinion but also stated it's simply my chemistry and not a testament to KOG's quality nor service either. Harry and Madison are very helpful and friendly, just a bit overwhelmed most times it seems but there's worse that could happen, right?!

Ever tried DE from KOG herbalhippie????

I know you're a red fan as well but I kinda thought more mid-slow to mid spec daytime type reds. If you're in the market for a super serious bedtime burner I'd say go for the Dark Elephant for sure..... To me so far its very similar to Soul's DE but this may actually be stronger/more potent. Although, I have not had the most recent batch of Soul DE to be fair, I've only had June and or July batches of I remember correctly
It's getting harder and harder to keep track of all the standouts lately, for real!!!

I have not tried it but I am in the market for another super sedating strain to add to my bedtime blend.

Is it the one that's in stock right now?

This Is Awesome! ACE!

Makes me smile

So glad you got some of that DE and yes it is a very very good strain/ batch.
DE of KOG wasn’t sedating (for me) last I recall but it is very comforting!
