At the risk of sounding shill-y, I feel I have to express a crazy amount of relief.

I'm a heavy user - doses of 20-30 grams - and therefore I spend a ton of money fueling my usage. A lot of smoke shop kratom and a local vendor were my unfortunate go-to.

I received my first shipment from Treasure House the other day (they were very thoughtful and included a free sample as well), and loaded up my regular toss/wash dose in a Snapple bottle.
I wasn't prepared for how strong it was. This was batch #42 Modern Maeng Da. I spent most of the evening feeling likeI had overdosed on opioids, shocked by the potency.

For the last two mornings I have dosed at around 5-7 grams, a mere fraction of my regular amount, and have enjoyed the most euphoric, active kratom experiences since I began usage in 2014.

This has been a huge revelation for me, now knowing I can drastically cut back my doses, and save a shedload of money, not to mention the physical amount of powder going in my body.

I felt kind of stupid and remorseful in realizing how much I had wasted, but so much more optimistic about the future now that I felt the need to share.

In a recent email Ben mentioned that the batch 42 reds had been causing some people to get the wobbles. I messaged him about it and he said that it seems to be people taking higher doses and it's probably because that batch is so strong. I got a few of the batch 42 reds and I never got the wobbles but I dose very low

I received the same email about that ... I tried some of that 42 batch , I can attest to it being potent and recommend taking a smaller dose ... at my reg dose def felt like it could lead to wobbles ... I was on the cusp of feeling it ... it’s a strong one for sure, the cool thing is not needing to take much to get the benefits !! I really like that company , great people ..
I’m the past I’ve enjoyed his modern white and green , the older white elephant was superb! Also in memory of awesome one’s was a red jk.. beautiful moodlift and clean energy...

I tried the #42 Red JK when I got home from work, definitely potent.

I got 2 strains from them and their very potent the both of them. Premium jong Kong and red md. Took them at my regular dose and was overcome by wobbles, whitch never happens. I cut the dose down by 20%-$40%. I’m still trying to find the sweet spot of a dose, not too weak and too strong.

I took advantage of this and got a kilo of Modern RMD and RMD Jong Kong on the cheap. No wobbles at 3.5g, so I'm with Ben on that.

Did the same for a year and a half before finding this place. Even now I keep finding higher quality, inexpensive vendors and lowering the dosage. I'm all the way down to 4g at a time from SOSA's incredible september batch. Even 4g is too high because I can barely feel my old 5.5g dose from BBunny. At this point, I'm only spending at most $10 per week vs the $30-40/wk 3 years ago.

Fantastic quality stuff these days, I'm all the way down from 16g per dose from my original vendors 3 years ago.

I got the Red MD Jongkong when the 42s had just come in. It was (and still is) damn good to me. I was instantly reordering it after I tried it. Ben said it looked as if all the RMDJK was not the same (like the supplier sent 2 different batches and it was all supposed to be RMDJK). Whatever I got was just a damn good red. I’ve taken up to 6g of it at a time and never felt wobbly. If he’s selling $55 kgs of the batch he sent me, it’s a steal.

This is a great point. Not only do the small batch sellers have a great price, your dosage is lower too.

what range is your normal dose?

These days it's about a gram and a quarter. I've gone up to a gram and a half a few times recently for some pretty severe arthritis pain. The first two and a half years or so that I was using Kratom I dosed at 3/4 of a gram.

Don'tbe hard on yourself because you started in head shops. That was the first place I heard of Kratom too, I just never bought it there because they told me it tasted bad. It wasn't until my sister started studing about it and started using it then she started telling me about it and I began to learn a few things. I still don't know 1/8 the info she does but I know the quality from private, trust worthy vendors is better and cheaper. You know now so you are good to go. Just ready the reviews on here about vendors before you order from them. This place is KEY to trust worthy vendors and good product!!!
