I'm a fan of Surf music, and that Jan & Dean hit from the 60's Surf City is a great one. There is also a Surf City in North Carolina!

That's where you'll find Johnson's Botanicals a family owned business there, and on the Internet. They are active on Facebook, with a vendor group and also a community group The Mitra Hangout .. I see a big difference in how the owners, Daniel and Kelli, get involved w their customers. Always having a chat, doing a contest or just being helpful.

Most vendors these days, can't seem to find the time .. I give extra points, for those who DO hang out with the "community online". If you're looking for a good medium size vendor, with customer service to go along with prices/ selection - check 'em out.

Their website says "Top quality natural herbs at low prices." It's a straight up, no frills site with clear Menu, and order instructions. No clicking around with hidden words, its all right there.. Easy to check stock, and see what's new. My 1st order and I got a variety here. I'm gonna do a short comment on each, since I just took a week vacation, T-break & have only tried em a few times:

• Green Boyan - recommended by Daniel. I asked him for euphoria and potency.. He was right! Very strong in the mood elevating department! Mid spec Green with some legs, not too fast or heady, but not sedating at all.. Just a real good body feel. My favorite here!
• Green Nanga - New strain he just received. Fresh one, I was looking for some "Nanga Pinoh" which is only found at the best vendors, so I guess here's the Johnson version. I've seen it called Nanga and others call it just Pinoh lol it's also a small Airport in W. Kalimantan. A little bit faster buzz than Boyan.
• White Nugroz - also fresh stock. Many of us have learned the Nugroz brand, is some of the finest kratom to be found anywhere.. Kind of slow energy for a white.. nice and euphoric. He's got a great selection of all colors, as expected its already got rave reviews on FB.. I should have ordered more of this one!
• White Banjo - Lately I've collected a few Banjo strains and they are consistently good. Again its a mark of quality when I see a vendor dealing with Zack, Nugroz, Asia, Widi, and other well respected suppliers.. Johnson's picking up a strong batch, from each one.

So that's what he does: Cream of the Crop... Like many online vendors these days, you place order w/ Invoice system by email .. He tossed in a ounce of Pure Gold for me to sample. He's got several custom blends, to explore.. I did also sample Enhanced Green Monster and I will cover that in another review. He's doing some unique things here, herbal potentiator mix, also.. Cool logo too As we're heading into peak season this Fall, good people & enough variety for anyone's taste.. Check out FB page for monthly specials & coupons!!

A fellow surf music fan. I always had a soft spot for anything by Dick Dale. He was the first to use a portable amp on the beach.

I’m not good at writing reviews so I’m just going to say that I took Mr Ballz advice and order the same ones from Johnson’s, and they were all hands down OUTSTANDING!! Everything he said about them was accurate! I love this company, and I’ve already emailed them for advice on what would be good for my next order which I’m planning on making this week!

Johnson’s is my favorite Kratom vendor. I’m feeling that anything you get from them will blow you away!

I am also very satisfied with my purchase from Johnson’s botanicals. I have tried 3 of the 5 that I ordered and so far all 3 (PMD, Green Nanga, and white bano)are definitely what I was looking for. I’m actually upset that I have stocked up so much other leaf.(I’ve got like 6-7 unopened 250gs, tons of vacuum sealed open ones but... I assume a lot of us do) I’m still going to find an excuse to order more variety to sample. I also have a very hard time describing my Kratom experience but am gonna try to journal up some thoughts on the 5 I got.

We are now out of stock on white mamba and are removing green sekadau as well as adding a few new items to the menu. we will post new menu in a day or two and when to expect new arrivals! we are very close to being out of nanga and pmd as well, greens sold super fast for us this time. one other thing, the green emperor (empangau) will be full stock in roughly 8-10 days. same with anything new or out of stock we post! Just a heads up and a humble thank you for all of the support!

The green boyan and white nugros are superb. Highest recommendation from me, for sure. Like, call mom and tell her you love here out of the blue lol.

I'm looking forward to their reds being back in stock so I can sample some more flavors.

Sending good thoughts and prayers to Daniel & Kelli - looks like Surf City NC took almost a direct hit from Hurricane Florence today - I see one report of 14" inch rainfall in Surf City. Plus the storm surge.. it's going to be a mess. On Facebook they reported as safe and sound, evacuated to a motel somewhere. Stay tuned for updates. Maybe the kratom community can pitch in & help these folks recover!

Thanks for the update about Johnson’s! I was actually just thinking about them an hour ago I was telling my hubby about them and hoping they were ok, and made it out safe!

awesome review that's how I feel about their product as well. I do not see a review of any of the reds packed in here so I'll just say I have their chocolate bent and it is a very nice relaxing sleep strain for me and really warm quality is on par with the others I have tried from Johnson's

Anyone know if they are stocked up? And any reds to recommend? Gonna give these guys a whirl. Thanks!

Well I give up on these guys. All their reds are out of stock. It says restock Oct 5th. Website not restocked. Their FB presence is gone. Emailed them got nothing. Called the number listed on their page and it takes you to a Verizon payment center. Seems way too shady to me. Maybe they went out of business.

Likely still trying to recover from the Storm. Give them a little time, they seem like good people. I'm sure they have been through a lot in the past few weeks.

BunnyBoo, Johnson's just posted here today with an update regarding reds on his site and some info on the problems getting kratom out of Indonesia right now.

If nothing else, give him credit for not listing strains for sale that he doesn't have in stock right now. Not shady.

Yeah like what whiffy said, that’s one of my favorite things about Johnson’s. I love that he keeps it up to date with what’s in stock. With other vendors I’m often worried if they don’t have what I’m asking for they will just send me something else. Bunnyboo Johnson’s Facebook group is private but it’s still there as of today. I highly recommend you change your mind and wait till they have red in stock if that’s what you need, their greens are all amazing as well. The red Asia, red Big Bang, red bent all are amazing and worth waiting for!

I just order a kilo of Green Boyan (fabulous by the way) from them on Monday and got it yesterday (Thursday). So they are still up and running and doing business. I also had a question that I emailed them about and they got back to me with a few hours.
They are great people with great product. Please don’t give up on them!

I can vouch for their customer service. They have gone above and beyond for me.

And their tea is fire.

That's not true. I was on their Facebook page yesterday. Daniel is active on FB, pretty much every day

Real shitty to post false information about vendors online. Johnson's located in North Carolina where Hurricane landed .. he's STILL on FB giving estimates of when re-stock will happen. As others have said. Good vendors give honest updates. Johnson is 1.

IF you're expecting vendors to always have everything you want NOW, today .. maybe you should Buy Kratom at a Retail Store? Don't buy online. Please! The vendors don't need headaches of dealing with frustrated, impatient, folks who lose their stash, run out of kratom, bounce checks, file charge-backs, have no money & want free stuff, and OR, post lies and BS on the Internet!

FIRST, on his website I saw that Reds were supposed to be re stocked today. I heard about the general shipping issues so I tried calling the phone number on his website, just to see what the owner had to say. IT GOES TO A VERIZON PAYMENT SITE, try it and see for yourself!

I then put a variety of Johnson's Botanicals spellings into FB and found NOTHING.

With all the other vendors, who has time to fool around w all this just to reach a person. Maybe some of y'all are friends with this guy so you might wanna tell him his business line doesn't work. I'm a business owner so I understand shit happens but if someone tries to reach me three ways and cannot, I'm not gonna blame em if they think I'm closed!

Thank you all for clarifying your follow-up actions, on every side. It bothers me that BallzDeep would use a single sentence to group together obvious bad actors and people who didn't know the best channels to contact a vendor. Those seem like very different motives. I understand if the community agrees that this is a misunderstanding and maybe that the OP jumped the gun, but there's no need to use the words "lies" and "BS" in a post responding to it.

We've all had situations where we were waiting for a vendor to do the right thing -- which they usually do, to their great credit! -- but just like in your life and mine, shit happens. It's cool to ask, but not cool to accuse openly without proof. I know you meant no harm, but give the folks a chance before you start blackening good names, okay? Have the same patience for them that you'd like to have from us, and all will be well.

TL;DR: Shit happens.

Got my first order from them 2 weeks ago. 5 way split with Green Emperor, White Mamba, Red Dragon, Chocolate Bent, and Red Sekadau. The Chocolate and Mamba were the clear standouts for me. The chocolate had decent euphoria with a fairly slow onset that changed to a full-body tingle. Melted into my recliner after a couple hours of that. It definitely wasn’t too heavy to enjoy though. Some reds (and slow whites) knock me out way too quickly. The Mamba was the complete opposite. I haven’t had a strain give me that kind of clear, focused, super-clean energy in quite some time. Kick-starts my day for sure. The other reds were blends and not bad - just not as good as the chocolate. The Green Emperor hasn’t done a lot for me, but to be fair, I’ve only burned it twice and neither was the first burn of the day. Overall I’m pretty impressed with Johnsons. I really want to try the Green Boyan, White Banjo, and Red Bent - hopefully the Indo shipping mess gets sorted out soon.

Ill Answer all of this. First our number has changed, idk why but every time i try to change on site it doesnt update but ill try again today. Second we made our group private bc of fb trying to completely remove it a couple months back. Third our reds are out of stock, the shipping issue had me only get one of three of my shipments in and it did not contain reds. i ordered a small amount of reds from a us supplier with kratom up to par of mine and it was gone befrore i got it and no one will do wholesale i trust at this point. id rather not have it than carry something that you wont like. We have been recovering and playing catch up for two weeks n we were out of business for almost two weeks so we are just now getting back up to speed. I have had one person slam my product today and curse at my admin from this forum and idk his handle here but if i did i would call him out. very unprofessional guy thinks cursing at a 60 year old lady is cool bc she said she still has aches and pains n trouble sleeping while using kratom. im sorry but kratom will not completely eradicate all pain and bad feeling or put you to sleep all the time bc its a red. morphine wont do it either. i was this 3rd company he had tried that didnt work in his own words mind you. Only reason i bring that up is that seeing all of your positive posts, comments, and reviews make me feel a bit better after this guys rant and ignorance today. thank you. i hope this all works out. i have a source in medan im working with so sumateran kratom i havent carried yet but have sampled in the past. i hope its up to par weith whaqt i have now so it can be a viable option for time being and future.

We don't want that mess here. Thank you for saying something. Many apologies that you got -any- undeserved heat from here, much less someone openly cursing at your rep.

It's one thing to say hey, I'm having a problem with a vendor, or ask for help and/or reviews when having trouble with a vendor, but what you describe is beyond the pale. We will always allow a negative review that is factual and courteously stated, but we absolutely do not support this behavior whether online or in person, and I regret that this person felt free to drag our good name into it.

So, I've been buying kratom from the head shop near my house for a year now. $30 for 4oz. It was beginning to become quite expensive but I truly enjoy what kratom has done for my life and my heroin addiction. So I began to research online vendors. After finding this site and going through vendor websites, I picked johnsons botanicals. I placed my order through their site and I must admit, I was sketched out by the invoice system via email and [deleted]. Begrudgingly, I bit the bullet and sent my money out into [deleted] land with hopes that this vendor was legit. I ordered one kg of white maeng da. I was notified the same day that my package was shipped. 3 business days later I received my package and have had all day today to try the product. I can say with 100% certainty that johnsons will have a repeat customer with me. Everything about them has impressed me. Website, price, delivery, potency - I give them a 10/10. Thanks Johnson's.

Click on the Order link, fill out the form with your info, and then put in what you want in the order section. They'll email you an invoice, and you pay from there.
