So I joined a while ago, and love the idea of having a space that is outside of Meta where we can discuss freely. This is also taking me back to the early 2000s when I was on these kind of message boards all day long
I have to admit though, I am not super comfortable with the format yet, so I don’t feel like I have a good grasp of how active this space really is, but so far it seems like there’s not a ton of activity. I’m wondering if there’s other moms here with young kids also in the trenches ?
I’m in a couple of secret groups on FB for moms and for those pregnant taking kratom or just trying to learn about it, and those spaces have been hugely helpful for me over the past years. I’m wondering if any of yall are here (if you know you know) and considering trying to bring people over, if I could get them to buy in to this format. Really tired of the censorship on FB and Reddit is too massive for me I can’t wrap my mind around it.
not sure if any members have young kids, and the board seems to be slowing down a bit.
Perhaps some peeps here can suggest MeWe groups to join? MeWe was a hotbed of activity last year, but I stopped chatting there when life stuff made a bunch of us drift away and also the interface got very annoying and all the good features were dried up.
Well. I’m glad someone can tell me I’m not crazy. I was told this was an active place to go participate but I’ve been wondering what I’m missing because I can’t seem to find a lot of new posts. I was wondering if I was just not savvy with this old form of social media lol. It does take some getting used to again but I don’t mind it!
IIRC, Becca of Otie's Botanicals is a mom, and her and Adam, her hubbie and partner with Otie's, have an active Facebook page that other moms, along with other people, post on. She or Adam also occasionally post here so you could message them to have her message you back with answers to questions.
