How you trust someone?

How you trust someone?

Hi folks,
Have you ever been betrayed or scammed by the Indonesian Supplier? Do you think Indonesian are also honest to other Indonesian ? In that way, how can you trust someone ?

For me, i read the persons face, consistency and try with small amount first. Care to share other experience ?
