e_poison, maybe you can register DoubleM? Not sure about how you qualify as a charitable organization, but I used to give my smile.amazon.com earnings to the needle exchange / drug and disease treatment center I was on the board of, and now to my parents' church, Christ the Foundation.

You can support your favorite charity each time you use Amazon... here's the low-down...

Go to www.smile.amazon.com and pick a charity, church, or other organization you want to give money to.

Every time you buy, make sure you are at smile.amazon.com, it's regular ol Amazon, but your charity will get 0.5% of what you spend (on applicable items), it's automagically easily! I've generated $26.72 over the past several years, just by shopping on normal stuff.

Thanks for the reminder! I used to get prompts like "do you want to use Smile?" when browsing vanilla Amazon, but at some point that stopped happening and I forgot about it. A shame too as RAINN was my chosen charity and I'm sure they can use every penny they can get. Modifying my Amazon bookmark to include Smile right now!

There are also browser extensions you can get to always use Amazon Smile in case you get there through someone else's link. I always forgot to switch sites before ordering when that happened, but no longer!

My chosen charity is the Electronic Frontier Foundation who do a lot of good work preserving our digital rights and fight back against state surveillance.

We support Ehlers-Danlos, the crippling rare disease my partner has, and if we end up getting two accounts, I might try to support Klippel-Trenaunay Syndrome research (the rare disease I have.) There are so many causes I want to support, but since my father AND partner have EDS, I have to put my $ where my loved ones are.

But I can think of a dozen plus charities that are near to my heart and want nothing but to support them. I'm conflicted.
