OMG you guys, what a GREAT series this is. tldr: It's about 3 or 4 families in a small town in Germany and time travel.
Highly recommended! I just finished Season 1 today (10 episodes) and there are 2 seasons left of 8 episodes each. Fittingly
enough, I am watching it with someone that lives in Germany so he can tell me if a translation is slightly off or something.
It's a little hard to keep track of all the names because you're in more than one timeline, I ended up making
like a spreadsheet with all the first names, place within the family and their job (if applicable, it's important in some cases),
but after about E7, I didn't need it so much.
Best to watch in the original German with English subtitles, the consensus is that the English dubs are not good. It's on Netflix btw.
Here's a beautiful song from one of the early episodes.

Re: German mini-series Dark
I’ve seen the first two seasons back when they came out, great show! I still need to watch s3. It’s super confusing with all the timelines so I will have to rewatch s1 and s2 first. Definitely builds up a good mystery.
The creators of Dark made another series (also on Netflix) called 1899. But it was cancelled after the first season. It’s very slow but the ending was absolutely insane and changed the whole dynamic of the show in an instant. I would have loved to see where the story went.
