So I am probably a member of evenish amounts of kratom groups as I am Norse/Pagan/Heathen/Viking groups.... I have always been interested in the history of it all since I was a kid as it is my heritage! But, in the last decade give or take I have really felt called to a heathen path and try to follow in the ways of my ancestors to the best of my ability with a modern times take. Is there anyone else here that is even interested in the stuff?? No less also follow some form of Pagan path? Orrrr maybe even for starters just people that appreciate and enjoy the Vikings on History TV show, Last Kingdom series, and large array of well done Vining bases movies that are out there?! Thanks for reading guys and gals u know it's not for everyone hence why I'm compelled to ask, as it's not all that often I come across others with similar mindset and such!!!

Interesting never heard of em before! Even more so interesting idk if you are familiar with Norse Gods but the name Yngwie or Yngve is said to be another name for the Norse God Freyr or Yngve-Freyr who is the partiarch to the 5 original Royal Norse Dynasties. One of these Dynasties is known as the the Fairhair Dynasty names after my supposed ancestor King Harald "Fairhair" Harfaagre awho is written about in the Yngling Saga. Super cool stuff in my opinion sorry to get carried away, but was a wild coincidence the name of that musician in the context of this thread lol!!

Great topic! I’m not a pagan or follower, but I find mythologies fascinating, especially Norse and Egyptian. It’s very interesting to look at stories from the past and see how those people lived, their belief systems, and the intricacies of their society and culture.
I watched The Last Kingdom season 1, but I wasn’t really digging season 2 and stopped after a couple episodes, but I hear season 3 is great so I will probably get back into it.
My absolute favorite YouTuber Top5s has a few viking videos you might enjoy. All his videos are incredibly interesting and researched well, but here are some I could find related to vikings:
Brutal facts and tales surrounding the Vikings -

Mythical Beings From Scandinavian & Norse Folklore That Terrified The Vikings -

Insanely Brutal Execution Methods and Rituals Used by The Vikings -

And of course, if you’re a gamer, I recommend Skyrim which is heavily influenced by Norse lore.

In the city I used to live in, there's a museum dedicated to Norwegian ancestry, which a lot of people in that area (central Minnesota) share. There are even some Norwegian food dishes that are popular there! Lefse, anyone?
This guy built a full scale replica of a Viking ship that was discovered in Norway, and actually sailed it across the Atlantic, before he died of leukemia. It sits in the museum now with a recreation of a Viking church.

That's awesome, any particular form of paganry?? I pretty much identify as Heathen/Odinist.... And is this something that is only btw you and your family and such or do you belong to some type of group/tribal unit or?? Just curious, as I don't know many other pagans personally and have just recently started to check-out and spend some time getting to know a local Heathen group. So far, I've been really enjoying being able to spend time with like minded people and learning about them and their personal views.
