I have a android phone, ,and I have imgur downloaded, ,now how do I post a pic,,I suppose I hit reply 1st, then? ?

While in Imgur, call up your photo and on the right side of the screen, copy the Direct Link

Come back here and open a reply screen and click on Img

Paste your direct link (which ends with .jpg) right there in the middle of the Img code

submit

I actually made you a little video about how to reply with quotes yesterday but it was too long and Imgur only downloaded a very small bit of it.

I'm wondering if you can do it directly from your phone I'm on the big screen when I'm on Double M but my phone is attached to my laptop to charge and I can pictures off of it. Hmmm, maybe I can get that profile pic right....

What about Avatar pic, i tried to find out an options for it but failed. I want to have avatar pic. any tutorials?

I figured how to post the link for pic not the actual pic,baby steps for me

Go to User Control Panel

Go to Overview and click on Profile

Go to Edit Profile and click on Edit Avatar

Then you can upload a pic from your phone or desktop

Oletimer, there is an option that you can copy 'n paste, straight from imgur.



brave77, you can only use an image for your avatar that is up to 90 pixels by 90 pixels AND no larger than 48.83 KB. Those two conditions have to be met to allow your avatar pic to post.

A handy thing, it’s a pity that there are restrictions on the avatar, I wanted to do a little more than the other one in the end. Not in the know is there any service for compressing a photo?

Thanks! I am trying to navigate the app its new,,thanks for the pic that helps ,by the way, after you copy on imgur do you paste it right smack dab in the middle where it is (img img),,or after this, I am thinking in the middle of those two,if I understood it right

You can copy the direct link and paste it to Img

or copy the BBCode as is circled in the pic and just paste it here without clicking on IMG

Imgur has meme&gif maker app,then there's imgur browser, andimg-Browser for imgur, that's what makes me confused, what app?

I would love to come ov er for tea and have you show me,,lol,,I understand it's hard to explain,I do things better by showing them how or if learning, I am better at actually being shown,I learn new things this phone does every week,,,,thanks for all your help,,taking the time,I appreciate it, I am going to break for a bit,,my neck,shoulder and jaw are so stiff ,,I tense those muscles up tight,,lol

Liam, imgur.com has an editing feature that you can use to resize pictures.

Oletimer, the imgur app that I use is just plain, "Imgur" and it's version 2.9.2.3881 . This is what I found that you can do. Open the app, tap on the head/shoulder icon (in mine it's lower right), and that should take you to your profile along with your pictures. Tap on the pic that you want, and in the lower right, there should be a "share" icon (three dots connected by two lines, like an arrow pointing left). Tap the share icon and choose messages, choose a random recipient, next, and the link will appear in the body. Copy the link, put it on your post on DoubleM, highlight the link, and click the Img button above the text box.
