 Back in the 90s when Internet became popular,,before windows,,,computer, ,black screen, wow, things have changed, anyhow that's when the ex turned from narcissist, disorder to this_____________  . A Canadian study found that Habitual Trolls are Narcissists, Sadists, and Sociopaths, people who lack empathy or consciously get pleasure from other peoples' pain. This isn't great news, as it means that telling them "Don't do that, it hurts" won't be effective in the slightest._  _____________After the internet stuff is when I got away,,omg, , :arrow:I just want to add all this Internet stuff happened when he was in his 40s,,after he got up in his 50s,he tired of it,,he liked to play those video games,,where you play against other people, ,out wit them,,steal their horse,RED DEAD,? Stuff like that,,,,

Yes! The best way I've found to deal with them is to bore them to tears by giving them no reaction and speaking in a slow monotone voice with the most boring story possible. Just start talking about how you put on your socks in the morning at length or something relevant to your situation at the moment. LOL There are several good youtube videos about the Gray Rock method. Do not feed them positive or negatively. Its all feed to them. They'll take what they can get.

That said, I'm a narc target former boyfriend, aunt, and a coworker was the last one. They are awful creatures of habit and so very predictable if paying attention. I can spot them a mile away!

Hahaha! ,Bore them to death,or ignore and avoid if possible, ,your reactions are you what they feed off, ,,, my ex used the words mind games, a lot,, when they have drained you and no longer have enough "feed" thats where the internet, social media, becomes a playground, ,lots of teens use social media,,and cyber bullying is on the rise,,it's terrible, the ones that commit suicide because of becoming a target of the bullying! I don't know if there's a cure for the disorder,,counseling doesn't help,,in their mind they can't except that they may be flawed,, they believe that the therapist is in cahoots with whoever their partner is,,, ,I should check out the utube video you mentioned, ,

I don't think it can be cured if they don't think anything is wrong with them. Most mental health professionals don't understand narcissism, nobody really understands it until they see it for themselves. It takes some people a lifetime of being abused before they see the narc for what they really are if ever. They have so many flying monkeys doing their dirty work and agreeing with every thing they say and do that of course it's not them needing help. It's never them.

You're right children are so vulnerable especially with the hive mind type thinking and behaving that is so prevalent these days. We do need cyber bullying and anti bullying laws. Bullying is very destructive and should be a crime for sure. Unfortunately, the social bullying with the hive minded flying monkeys can't be pinned down and probably isn't a crime but it's just as damaging. And they think the one they are attacking "deserves" it. I truly despise these types of people. They are not worthy of one bit of space in anyones mind and heart. I really think that prayer is the only way to fight this. They just feed off of everything else. I bet they hate prayer! : )
