Another weapon in the arsenal against getting sick, or to help get better. Maybe if I'd made this months ago.... :?

I'm making the original recipe. Equal quantities yellow onion, garlic, ginger, fresh horseradish root and the hottest peppers you can stand. I got about a pound of each and it will fill a gallon glass jar. Then you cover it with Braggs apple cider vinegar, let sit for a month, then strain and add raw honey. This is meant to be an immune booster or to help if you're already ill.

There are a lot of other recipes out there. Some people add other herbs or sliced citrus or even berries. My daughter buys one from Sauvie Shrubs in Portland that has blueberry and tayberry in it and it's delicious.

I saw on r/medicine that some doctors are suggesting quercetin to help against Covid. Yellow onions have a lot of quercetin in them. Green tea too.

Haha it's not gross at all it's actually really tasty. be warned though if you take a lot of it everyday in a few days you're going to reek of garlic. Lol

Congratulations, you will live long and happy. Makes me smile when i see people who know what they are doing. I bet there would be zero sick people if everyone made this fire cider! But sheep will stay sheep. Everything that is natural is made to repair, anything human made is made to hurt.

Someone brought home some homemade spicy takuan! Usually it's sweet and vinegary; this batch was also hot spicy, so good. "Ono" is Hawaiian for delicious, and it was ono! (Ono can also be used as a verb, like 'I am ono for some takuan.'
