So a bunch of us from DoubleM and MeWe started a group on MeWe about drinking coffee, coffee companies, roasting our own green beans, tricks, hacks, and all ways of enjoying a cuppa joe.

ok, the coffees I am purchasing from are Koffee Kult, the dark/dark-meds. Most are med. Some like the Thunder Bolt have mainly one flavor, nothing wrong with that, but the Dark Roast just sings. My most fave is the e115 supreme dark. 1st note is decent diner coffee... then Emeril must come in and bam! it gets happy happy!

Then I've got a subscription to Bean Box, sends me 3 packs of dark roast, each pack has 4 servings, and they're batch labeled so I can get more, or sometimes they run out and (ask) if I want a similar bean; a process by which I've found some great Seattle stuff (coffee imports from around the world, gets roasted by one of the specialty roasteries in the area[they use 20 or more], and ships by beanbox).

Now we have some people home roasting, and it's truly amazing in fragrance, range of flavor, and overall taste. Some have special notes which pique particular interest. Literally stuff you'd have after dinner at a fine dining resto, except you can have it anytime (iced, love it), as much as you want, and your wallet might even be heavier than if you hit Starbucks every day.
