Here's a tip. I see you're somewhat new. There's a section called the Trading Post that isn't immediately visible. Click on "Trading Post membership" under "General Kratom Discussion" and it tells you how to get in. You've already been here over 30 days. So you just need to engage with the community a little, then request membership. It's really easy, just pick some topics that interest you and chime in. I think a lot of people give up because they think it will be a hassle. But it's not that hard. Once you're in, private vendor stuff is offered fairly often. Some people will make sample packs so you can try different things. Some might get a quality batch that just doesn't hit for them personally, but is great for others. Some load up on a favorite strain then decide they bought too much and pass it on. There's even some fun vintage stuff that pops up from time to time. I understand it can be frustrating seeing people talk about different strains and batches you can't purchase because of private vendors, but I highly recommend the Trading Post if you have the time to engage here. It may seem like a private club, but there are some good people here who will help you out. Best of luck to you!

Get on the TP and message me, i recently bought a ton, ill set you up. Also you have to be dilliigent. There are lots of ins. They all have open events fairly often and you could always test for TFH. Nobody ever complained about that, i don't think. It isnt hopeless, just do your due dilligence and know we have all done the same. And yeah, TP kicks!! Definitely the cool kids table.(believe me, im referring to the other participants, NOT myself here) Hahaha!

As someone who's been here only slightly over a year I can feel your pain.

When I first came here everyone was touting vendors like TFH and Denette and I was coming from buying from the bulk guys. It was a revelation there even WERE small vendors, let alone those part of some secret, private club I would never be able to join.

But here's the thing - in just about a year I've gotten "membership" to nearly all of them. It didn't take much - just some participation here, some asking questions and then (after I knew a *little*) perhaps even answering them. Just sharing your experience with who you are, how you've found kratom, and what it means can go a long way towards making your presence known. And the secret is this - the small vendors want to sell to you, just like they want to sell to everyone they can. They just want to make sure, given their size, that you will be the right customer for them.

So - as others mentioned, look around. There's a list here of some very quality vendors who are open to the public - try them. In particular I'd recommend Oties to start. And definitely get on the Trading Post, where you can find wares from ALL. And keep posting here, asking questions and interacting and before you know it you'll be able to get membership to nearly all (I say "nearly" - the TFH membership is still a golden ticket I was EXTREMELY lucky to get. But... you never know).

Well I’ve been member of doublemherbals for a few years, and I managed to become a member of everywhere I wanted pretty much within month of joining minus denettes, and tfh. Now I became a member of denettes last week after waiting for like two, or more years to get in. Very nice guy. Responds very quickly. Also holds open events, and accepts member pretty often. Now I like tfh harvest but becoming a member is to difficult, and the leaf is not that much better if at all compared to other private vendors, and I would even say many have better leaf. I stated a long time ago about how the more exclusive the club the more people want in. Well I feel like tfh is a perfect example of this. So just cause it’s private doesn’t mean better so I’m not to bummed about tfh because while they have good leaf it’s not the end of the world. I actually prefer private vendors even though I think some people just like them because they make them feel special. The reason I like private vendors more is because with the right one you get a more personal touch, and I think they spend more time sourcing which leads to higher quality leaf. In my experience the best leaf I have had all came from private vendors including luckys though they’re no longer private. Now denette honestly has the best reds I’ve tried through samples I’ve gotten can’t wait to place my first order,. Heaven leaf always has fire leaf with a description on spec, and is just a great person overall with outstanding customer service. Rhinos always has super fresh leaf with near instant shipping. These are all private, and I think each one of them Is better, or just as good than almost any other vendor.while I think some people think private means better, and I will admit my favorite vendors are all private doesn’t mean you can get some great leaf from non private vendors. Though if your patient you will have a shot at membership Im sure but there’s plenty of great leaf in the meantime from open vendors; not even mentioning the trading post.

I am similar to KT above in how I got in. All went through this forum (MM). Everyone here is very nice, willing to educate, and part with good products they have from all vendors. Within a week of being in the TP i purchased some of my best leaf from people here who wanted to help. This is a solid place to be, so get to know people here and there will be more available than money you have to spend. Take care and happy new year!!

Yeah man, welcome. Just stick around, get into the trading post. You can find leaf from any private you wish. Some crazy buyers up in here who regularly sell off the excess.

One point id make is this place is a resource for kratom intel, an informed community with plenty of vendor input. Private vendors engage with this forum and often fill membership openings from it. My guess is they appreciate good people who share their enjoyment of top quality kratom, good customers whose discretion they can trust.

Last, private doesn’t categorically mean superior. Plenty of great leaf to be purchased from non private. We gush over private folks without question, I certainly felt that when I first came over here. Not meant to be elitist behavior, for me it’s come from valuing the relationships/people, their knowledge and lengths they go to test and source high end kratom. Anyhow, nose around - a ton of helpful people in here.

DTE Botanicals is a new public vendor that is getting rave reviews on here. I can vouch that dte has top notch leaf.

Lucky herbals is also public and has some of my favorite strains like high octane and green maeng da. Otie's Botanicals White Elephant is one of the best strains from any vendor, public or private.

denette615 is doing a public event right now in the vendor listings forum.

There's also rhino remedies. I would just shoot an email and see what happens.

there are a ton of good public vendors here. the majority of vendors here are non private. browse the board, look at the vendor list that's stickied in this subforum, check out the vendor listings subforum, and/or ask around other users.

yup, try a bunch of vendors on ballz's non private groups and contribute serious posts here on doubleM. after getting comfortable, you will be able to send private messages and join the trading post, where you can buy some amounts of small vendors while applying to these private boards. Many require you to have someone vouch for you, some are not looking for new members.

again, start off with the non private groups, many are equivalent in quality.

An “elitist sorority”…. That genuinely made me laugh! .

All jokes aside, though, I’ve had great kratom from multiple sources over the past year and I’ve come to be a big fan of Otie’s and Liza’s! I’ve read so many positives about a few select vendors… I’m assuming that TFH and Denette are considered to be the “best of the best” (at least according to a large number of posters on here).

Unfortunately, I’ve yet to have the chance to try any kratom from any of the private vendors. I’m actually very curious to see how the kratom stacks up! My opinion is that every decent vendor is gonna have some fire and some duds so maybe we aren’t missing that much! Lol…

Let us know what you’re ordering and how you like (or dislike) it! Curious minds want to know!

Never been a fan of snobbery, but I certainly understand some of the safety issues some of these guys face and if you own a business you get to decide who you sell to. To those who demonstrated the exact behaviors I was discussing...well...you be be you...I am sure it will catch up with you.
