It's been a fast moving situation in recent years... after Kratom being pretty much the same, with people coming and going, for years... Yes the "discovery" of isolated 7OH, and bringing it to market - was HUGE.

I was on the "Kratom Gals" YouTube podcast and thought, hmmm - How many of the "Old Folks" are still around - compared to the # New noobs just NOW discovering Kratom and 7OH.. but probably, more likely, finding 7 FIRST - then possibly learning about Kratom/ Or not even going there ? So at some point, the # 7Oh users, millions - exceed the # Kratom folks. That's clearly happening, just due to Marketing @ Smoke/ Vape/ Head shops around town.

So yeah, on this Topic - I think the "7Ohmz" BRAND tablets - have fallen out of favor, you almost don't hear about, anyone buying 7Ohmz any more... When it was, like the original 7Oh Brand product back 3 years ago. LAST WEEK - At the Champs Trade Show 2026 in Las Vegas ( they have those now in other cities ) Vegas show is still #1 - You see this HUGE industry - Retail stores - where all the "action" is now. IN FACT - On this Topic ? I'd say maybe the #1 change this year? Has been "Dollar Tablets" becoming the NORM online... . Yes. Online vendors all carry $1 7Oh tabs now. Usually around 14 mg more or less... You can take ½ tablet for 7 mg "Low Dose" - I DO take a Quarter tab!! around 3-4 mg - excellent boost taken WITH any Plain Leaf... cost around .25 cents

Hey Ballz, what is your total 7oh usage a day? I was taking fairly low doses, no more than 7.5 to 10 mg at a time for a total of around 40mg a day, and I had horrible withdrawals when I tried to stop. It's too bad, because it worked great for pain, but I don't want to be physically addicted to anything. I never had this problem quitting kratom. Maybe a day or two of yawning and runny nose, but that's it.

Haven't seen him around here since his operation, I'm kinda wondering too. We don't have a lot in common, but I couldn't give less of a shit about that though.

I mean, I use 7 too, but finger wagging is definitely necessary sometimes. I'm not even allowed to MENTION it around my house and when I do, I get the riot act (seemingly I'm its entirety) every time..

I'm not a fool. I get it.
It's not long for the VA world though as I said elsewhere though.

7oh is without a doubt 100% an opiate. It’s a safe opiate since it’s practically impossible to overdose but it’s 13 times more potent than morphine…. No Kratom plant is anywhere near that type of strength. It’s also extremely addictive and if your someone who takes Kratom everyday than I can almost guarantee that you will be taking 7oh everyday too. I mean I’m sure 99% of plain leaf vendors can attest to this since it seems like their sales have dropped significantly. I used to see the best small batch vendors run out of their newest batches within hours of dropping now I see them having stock on products for months. So many of this community has been taken over by 7oh and it just completely wrecks your tolerance to the point that plain leaf does nothing.

I’m mostly just reading to learn here although I have my opinions I think there’s always a lot to learn by reading opposing views. When I read your comment it has me genuinely curious - how do we *know* for a fact that it is close to impossible to overdose on it ? From what I’ve gathered (but i know very little) the problem is that we have very minimal information about it. How do we know? Just anecdotal that no one has died yet?

It is in my opinion. The minute 7oh was tied to kratom was the start of kratoms downfall. People see the horror stories online and assume all kratom is terrible.

Also the multitude of extracts available at smoke shops didn't help either, although I do like a good mit extract myself occasionally.
