OHIO Deadline Approaching - Submit Comments by Tues 04/30

The public comment period is open to everyone

DEADLINE - Tuesday April 30, 2019

Not just businesses, not just residents, the comment period is open to EVERYONE. They have only received a few hundred comments so far. We are a community of tens of thousands. We can do better than a few hundred comments. We MUST do better. We have only a few days left but that is plenty of hours to get something done.

Ohio is NOT going through the standard legislative process and they are leaning towards placing kratom into Ohio's Schedule 1. Without significant pushback from the general public, this ban proposal gets one step closer to reality.

Ohio is a state with influence and political persuasion. If they ban, it will likely be a big boost in momentum for state bans.

The Ohio Board of Pharmacy has only received a few hundred comments and the petition has 1400 signatures. Meanwhile, the #KRATOMKILLS petition has over 2500. This is not good.

Whether or not you live in Ohio, please sign the petition and submit your comments. If you need help writing something or want input on your rough draft, just ask. You matter. Your story matters. No matter your situation, your voice matters. You don't need to have a super dramatic story for it to be worth telling. I know many here would be lost without kratom but even if your life is more average, your perspective isn't any less important. Either way, you don't have to get super specific with your personal story.

Speak from your heart. Express how you do not agree with Ohio scheduling it as a controlled substance. Urge them to follow the science and more thoroughly examine current research.

As long as your comment is polite and respectful, anything is better than nothing!
