Any experience shipping to Mexico?
I've heard it's not too fun. I'm currently in Mexico City. I'm looking for anyone with experience shipping here. Any info is great. The stuff I've heard so far isn't stellar

hey man i live in quintana roo, and i have made two attemps at having stuff shipped down here. one took 3 weeks, and the other took 3 months. the one that took 3 months had one of the bags open by customs. also it is extremely expensive.
i image that it would be faster getting to mexico city than it would be all the way down here. i used the regular post office, which is not recommended at all, but also about 50 dollars cheaper shipping wise. most people recommend having it shipped DHL. that i assume would be much faster.
i only found one vendor that was even willing to attempt to ship it to me in mexico. if your interested send me a direct message and i will give you the name of the vendor, as im not sure if he wants it advertised that he shipped internationally, but you could always e-mail him and ask.
