Kratom on the go
Hey all, I haven't seen a post on this forum about how people take their kratom with them when they're out and about so I figured that I'd give some ideas or pointers based on what I do.
I always found it very annoying to bring bags of kratom with me when I left the house for an extended period of time, whether it be work or just going to visit family. And then on top of that you need a spoon or some device to scoop the powder out of the bag. It just became quite a hassle for me. To remedy this, I tried different ideas to easily carry a usable amount of kratom with me. I tried contact lense cases (too small), putting a predetermined amount of kratom in a water bottle or similar vessel and just adding liquid (a lot of kratom sticks to the sides), to putting a predetermined amount in a zip-lock baggie and pouring it into a drink (not very efficient).
Then I had the idea to use old prescription drug bottles. The thin, tall ones don't work very well because they're hard to fill but the wider ones (sorry, not sure of dimensions off the top of my head) are perfect because a normal sized spoon (not the big one) fits right in them so it's really easy to put kratom in. Sometimes I fill them with all one strain and sometimes I'll create a blend of 2, 3 or sometimes 4 different strains. It's extremely convenient and (this is for more experienced kratom users) if you can eyeball your dose, it's really easy to just dump the kratom into a cup or whatever and send it down the ole gullet. Also, most prescription bottles are watertight and airtight so you don't have to worry about moisture getting in or kratom getting out.
I've been doing this for several months now and I've accumulated several prescription bottles so, if I have the space, I can bring several strains along with me and not have to mix them. The only thing I need is a cup, which is pretty easy to find, and liquid, also easy to find.
Now, this probably won't help the people who make tea or like to freeze their kratom or other more complex methods of ingestion, but for the T&Wer it's very convenient and efficient. It's probably not for everyone but I figured someone may be able to benefit from this idea.

I also use prescription bottles. I prefill them with the correct dose and at work I dump them in my green tea or water.

Or use caps..I use an empty vitamin bottle (specifically for me a red yeast rice by Nature's Bounty). The caps resembles a Red Yeast cap so it never gets questioned when traveling on a plane.

I pre-blend into prescription bottles. Then I toss and wash from the bottle.
It doesn't look too odd to see someone upend a prescription bottle into their mouth. I've even done it sitting at a stop light next to a police car.

Dollar Stores are an excellent place to find mini pocket-sized storage containers big enough to hold one or even multiple doses. You'd be surprised what you can find. Me personally, I'm a vaper, and have collected quite a few of these little round screw-top cases (for atomizer coils) which hold 2.5 - 3gs of powder. Perfect "on the go" size for me. That's of course when I'm not bringing tea with me. I've been on quite the tea binge again. I tend to during the warmer months.

Lol - tempt fate much? Even though it's legal here I wouldn't do that!

I figure if I don't act like it's a big deal nobody else will either.
I've done it on airplanes, at airports, on Amtrak while traveling through a legal state, on commuter railroads. on local buses and in restaurants. No different than taking a vitamin or my blood pressure pill as I see it.
