Is it just me or do some strains you have to take a couple of times to get a really good effect from it. just curious but I noticed that is the case for me with certain strains or when switching from a green to red etc. Would really like to hear y'alls opinion

Its not you, i said it before, some strains you have to take up to 3 times to get it going. its normal. Funny part some people give up after first try, how personally think some strains need to be introduced into the body first. First one is like exploration mission and once it settles, you start to feel other doses.

Yes exactly I agree 100% with that I tried some of tfh wild yellow saraminda and the first time I couldn't really feel the effects but when I tried it the next day before work blew my socks off happy to hear it's not just me

It’s funny because I have almost exclusively had the opposite effect where I usually get a really good burn on the first test of a new batch, and can’t get the same effect again , It is super rare for me to get good burns after multiple failed attempts. Fickle Mitra

There is plenty of lore that celebrates the second, third or fourth burn for a given leaf. I think this is very possible. But, so far, like you I have enjoyed an amazing first burn that wound up being the last burn. I'm recalling some of SOSA's reds (WOWZA the first time then Meh...). I still have 4 bags from K-OG that completely failed me after the first sampling.

There's loads of science to kratom but - apparently - not enough scientists.

Dont get me wrong some burns first time are amazing.but with certain strains and when switching between different colors some take that second or third dose to really hit me

Yeah, it works both ways sometimes it takes a couple of tries for your "system" to adjust a lot of times it'll floor ya the first time and ya never get benefits from it again... Also, there are times when you see something really hyped up and you buy it and try the whole bag and say to yourself "I really don't get it"!?!

Also - side note. I have had a amazing burn, Abd thought maybe it I wait 1-3 weeks it will be amazing again. Nope that never really works. It’s crazy I really wonder what is going on. Is it once you have been exposed to a new alkoloid profile your body is assimilated at first burn?

Are you mixing anything with it the 2nd or 3rd time? If something doesn't hit the first time, it's not gonna hit at all for me no matter how many times I try it
