Btw I took the advice and finally signed up for informed delivery but I'm still not sure exactly how it works. It seems like it still has some kinks in the system that need to be worked out. Sometimes it works and sometimes it totally misses stuff. It'll probably get better as time goes on, just like how tracking has gotten much better over the last few years.

Got a kilo of Super Green Elephant coming from Liza's Botanicals. Very good strain there, reminds me of that potent old school kratom with the leather-y scent. After sampling an ounce of it I quickly ordered a kilo after confirming she still had the same batch.

It should contain a hundred grams of a Bentaguie blend that was enhanced with a double serving (2x) of Mitragynine extract. I tried a sample of it and it helps in taking a break from 7-Hydroxymitragyne heavy strains. They just started offering it.

I just started using it as well. IIRC, I was told that the USPS doesn't scan third class mail, so stuff like letters from politicians/car dealers won't get scanned. It's been spot-on with packages so far, excepting the occasional over-promising that mail at my local post office will actually get delivered the day it was received.

I've been trying to be good. The incense was my biggest frivolous purchase during lockdown. Good incense burning makes me feel calm and peaceful.

I just spent way too much on books from Amazon and I still have more in my cart. It's funny, for a site that started out specializing in books exclusively, their books really aren't that cheap. Even the used ones, unless it's a badly beaten up copy, are at least twice as much as you typically see in a used book store. Plus some of the used books aren't eligible for free shipping so you have to pay an additional fee.

Sometimes I get an estimated delivery date from Amazon for two weeks out and it ends up coming in just a few days

I've been trying to order my books from the library for the most part but the libraries are shut down right now so that's out. Amazon it is.

I told myself I really need to quit buying books, what I need to do is get rid of a bunch of books. I'm looking at moving into a seniors apartment here in a few years and I'm not going to have room for five or six bookcases.

I've got a Kindle but it's just not the same.

My local university does an annual book sale where they fill up the entire gymnasium with tables stacked with books and give you big paper bags to fill up for $5 a pop. You can literally squeeze 15-20 books in each bag and there are some real gems to be found.

Yeah I don't like the Kindle. I need a physical book that I can hold and put on a shelf on display. It's an aesthetic thing. Plus reading off a screen isn't enjoyable.

I’ve got some Mitra-Genie coming today courtesy of Goldfumed on MeWe - PMD13 and Gold MD. Also have some LOE coming Monday - four strains (three of them whites) from the regular menu from the last days of the sale last week (White MD 3, Wild W Hulu, Wild W JK and Wild G Thai).

A couple of instant kavas from GHK are also supposed to be delivered today, but it appears the shipment from Hawaii is delay. Bummer, as I was really looking forward to those.
