[SITE POLL] CBD section - yes or no?

I've seen some talk around the forum about adding a CBD section and it's something us mods are seriously considering. It was always the intent to expand into other products (hence the herbals in the name), but I'd rather not have another dead section like the Kava one lol. So right now, I'm simply putting some feelers out there to see if there would even be any serious interest in a new CBD area.

I think it is a good idea (the expanding of other herbs). CBD users are often using cbd for pain relief. I imagine there are lots of CBD users who'd find kratom to pair well with the cbd. Trick is getting active forums like you mentioned. Just throwing ideas of top of my head... but What about maybe a section for Alternative Health/Lifestyle (not just herbs like Kava and CBD and Kratom, but Yoga and Meditation)? So many of our problems are often intertwined and overlap, and finding harmony and balance with a variety of alternative health tips and guides (non-western medicine). On the Meditation reddit forums, Kratom is often sometimes brought up and the responses are usually very positive in kratom helping the mediate/yoga sessions. This forum is where I spend most of my online time, and get excited just thinking of all these other herbs and alt health tools/lifestyles that I'm interested in all under the same roof

r/CBD and r/hempflower are pretty active and large subreddits I believe. I don't know if there would be a way to draw the attention of that crowd over here, or even if this site wants the extra attention (I would think the HEMP CBD crowd would be more willing/open and better suited to joining this community.) I just imagine CBD and Kratom users share many similarities - like government oversight trying to ban our herbs because they actually help. There was a recent push I believe last year to make hempflower illegal because its hard to tell the difference from regular weed. It seems the hemp/cbd activists were successful in stopping that. Just imagine, if Kratom and Kava and CBD communities all came together in a united advocacy community group? A more wider focused herb community than the AKA, as many issues from these herbs share common threads (pain relief, addiction, natural alternatives, etc).

CBD is everywhere now (CVS has an entire wall for it). Yoga and Meditation are now essential mainstream and no longer fringe ideas. I don't know how it would work or how to draw the attention to the sub, but I am all in favor of a section dedicated to alternative herbs and lifestyle (yoga/meditate). People helping people, nothing better It be an awesome thing to bring together these various groups and learn from each group, and maybe use these various tools to continue improving our health/life beyond just kratom. I have a feeling I am aiming WAYYY to high of the intention here

well, DEA is Federal, everything's on hold for 2-3 months until the Election is sorted out?

Otherwise... it's State Law. here on West Coast we'll be fine... but those living in Red States, still get sent to prison for weed! A CBD Section is great, but, Illegal in many states. More illegal than kratom.

Some sites say it's illegal, some say it's completely legal. But I do know for a fact they sell it all over the place here. I'm honestly super confused on the legality myself. If it's illegal how are stores around here selling it? In any case, it's just a discussion forum, we won't actually be selling the product. Discussion isn't illegal.

But, yes, I'm waiting for more input on this. I just wanted to put some feelers out there and see.

Well that's not exactly accurate Joe Biden stated he wants to make marijuana a schedule 2 drug which would destroy the entire industry over night. Allowing only big corps and pharma to sell FDA approved marijuana products that have gone through extensive FDA trials the democratic platform is bad for business.

They seem to be really going after Delt-8-thc, which I figured wouldn't last very long as a loophole. It didn't help COA's from various companies selling delt8 products appeared to have been faked and their products were coming up hot with regular schedule 1 Delta-9-thc.
