Best GREEN strains for pain relief.....
Much as i sort of despise these "what's the best" themed threads, i've really come to value the opinions offered from fellow members on here. Most of my interactions have been on specific vendor review threads, so i wanted to open it up a little regarding greens and pain relief.
Obviously i have the best luck taking reds for analgesic needs, but there comes a point in my dosing cycle where my receptors start to get fatigued on those particular alkaloids. However, i discovered that mixing in more greens has kept my burns nice and strong once the reds start to fade a little.... So which strains have you found that do a great job in this regard?
Some to note thus far: Krabot Green Bali (bad value), D615 Green Grampa, D615 Green Pure all pack a good slap.

Re: Best GREEN strains for pain relief.....
I'm not sure about greens for pain because I always blend with a red. I'll take RVA PMD 2 or Denette's Green Bone and blend it with Denette's excellent Red Bone 2 and pain almost totally dissipates. I can definitely tell if I miss the red, if so I'll just add a few grams of red an hour later. Besides pain, the blends also just seem to work better. The two I mentioned above are amazing for pain and energy, I barely need to take ibuprofen along with it. And I have a lot of pain so I can definitely tell the difference; I have a displaced fracture at the distal end of the radius (basically a wrist fracture) that I haven't had surgery on yet. I usually do a 1:1 50/50 blend, more if necessary. In general most greens I've tried have not worked very well for pain, but I am interested in this question too if anyone has had good results for pain with a green only. Oh, and I should say that even if a green doesn't negate the pain, it's still far better than it feels without any kratom at all, and certainly better than any otc pain reliever.

Re: Best GREEN strains for pain relief.....
I've used kratom for pain relief (from rheumatoid arthritis and cervical disc issues) for about three years. I mostly use green strains because I despise the sedating effect most reds have for me.
It seems to me that "Elephant" or "Hulu" strains often work better than other green strains, but of course that could be a placebo effect - I haven't done a double-blinded trial...
If you can order from TFH, their Jade Hulu SSV works very well for pain relief. Their crushed green hulu is also quite good, if you want to make tea from crushed leaf.

The best green I’ve ever had for pain relief was TFH Old School Green Bali. It’s perfect for those bad pain days when I absolutely have to get something done and can’t give in to the pain. I’ve had to set mine aside for awhile because I found myself taking it constantly. They also used to have a Green Borneo on the menu that’s really good.

Funny, I feel like that’s a common thing for Green Bali strains. This one sounds great - Now it’s time to weasel my way into a TFH membershipMycatTimmy wrote:The best green I’ve ever had for pain relief was TFH Old School Green Bali. Give Fused Flora's Super Green Borneo a try. It works exceptionally well as a booster for other batches, (greens or reds). On its own though it can be a little overwhelming imo since it's so potent, but added to other batches it simply seems to amplify the characteristics of the other batch it's added to. It also has strong pain relieving properties.
Also, if you can get a membership with Lucky's their Green Hulu, Green Malay, and Green Maeng Da work well for me regarding pain. The Green Maeng Da and Green Malay are slightly energetic greens, but the Hulu is on the mid-slow side, and the Hulu also seems to be the strongest for pain.

First few that come to mind:
Fused Flora - Green Bali daaammnn Easily the first one that comes to mind.
The strongest (& heaviest) GB I've experienced out of the half dozen I use.
Very Slow, Deep & Heavy greens can be too much for me at first. They are rare. This is one of them. The only one I didn't get used to within a few days or even weeks. So it's crumbs in the blend for me. But this way it's great- giving relief and depth to faster blends which can lack something.
This saved me from a string of persistent headaches I had this past summer- just a small amount makes a noticeable difference.
Reliable relief in my experience. You won't get the same batch from FF and you might not get hit the same way but if having a hard time finding a solid one, odds are good that you'll find it in FF-GB.
A close second in well above average potency & relief-
Mitraman's Green Jong Kong - I use it to deepen the late day / evening. I think it'd be a strong reliever but pain hasn't been a problem target recently.
if it helps to know, I use it mixed with Reds not long before sleep. That's keeping it Red dominant or it can keep me awake.
TFH - Green Dayak Deeep. It's a special one. In blends it's good in opposition with fast. it's very relieving. It's also amusing at times- fun & smiles.
Spirit Science (MeWe) - He's got good Green MD's All euphoric & solid with "That Smell" You can smell that smell. (it smells good)
but haven't tested those for pain (see below). Also has good fast greens. Usually has red & green Saluwesi too. mmm...saluwe.....
But Relief is the goal - These two relievers work differently than the slow Bali kind of thing.
The SS Gn Malay is very strong relief. Sometimes sleepy but either way it's not "heavy". More the "anesthetic-like" full body numbing sensation (not common) with my lower back pain completely gone. Batches vary of course. What I have isn't euphoric or mood lifting- it's ALL relief and exceptional at that.
SS Green Jong Kong leans more toward Good Mood. Similar sensation with lack of discomfort. Also light / not "heavy"- color too, it's literally chartreuse - a bright, slightly milky color green. > Clarity, stillness of mind, uplifted, and surprising relief but not as strong as the Malay for pain relief. This one helped with gaining perspective & processing grief so I'd say it's good support for pain.
A not-green for variety....
If you like surprises, try Mitraman's White Sumatra. The Slow White that all other slow white's aspire to be. Major relief... and very soothing. Very slow.

Rhino Green Borneo (I have B drop but have heard good things about other versions); TFH Old School Green Bali and Classic Green Maeng Da.
