Concentrated Stupidity

This is my Kratom shot glass. I have resigned to not wash it...indefinitely. The plant matter stuck to the sides of the glass is a natural occurence, we all know that.

Is it possible to continue the use of the glass and at some point, collect and consume that extra matter? Would it be a super mix of alkaloids worth ingesting? Has my curiosity run amok? Will I go blind?

Are you not worried about all the bacteria breeding nonstop in this warm, wet plant matter? Seems like it would make you really sick at some point. If you want a "super" mix of alkaloids, blend a bunch of strains together, or make kratom concentrate. This is not the way! lol I don't think the reward is even close to outweighing the risk

Do you use water or other liquids in that glass? If so, I'd definitely consider giving it a wash w/ hot water and soap. Kratom can get moldy.

I wash the spoon and plastic cup I weigh my kratom in at least once a week even though I toss n wash and water never touches the spoon or cup.

Do you use water or other liquids in that glass? If so, I'd definitely consider giving it a wash w/ hot water and soap. Kratom can get moldy.

This is the best way to toss N wash, imo. And another plus is that if your scale is a bit 'off' it doesn't matter: weight the empty cup - get a number. Then weigh the cup with kratom in it and subtract the first number from the second. This will give you the number of grams in the cup.

No need for mathematics here...most scales have a tare or 't' button that does this for you. You put whatever on the scale and hit tare, and the numbers go to zero.

Usually what I do is put the plastic tray that comes with the scale, on the scale before turning it on, so it zeroes out with the tray (and you don't have to hit tare), and whatever kratom you add automatically weighs accurately.

Unfortunately these very inexpensive pocket scales aren't the most accurate and aren't very reliable after a while. I can't get the tare button to do much. I just thought the cup & comparison was a nice hack for cheap scales that have lost their accuracy. Works every time and I certainly don't have much going on in the Mathematics Dept.

Thank goodness this thread turned to something better. I had immediate regret after hitting the post button. It was a half-joke that should have stayed in my rotten brain.
