Kratom Consistency/Texture Question

I’ve been taking Kratom for about a year and a half now and I have noticed a pattern with the consistency or “texture” of what typically stand out as a “fire” strains. I’ve noticed that I have a better experience with strains that are more “grainy-looking” (almost like marijuana keef, for lack of a better analogy) rather than strains that are fine and silky like flour. I don’t know if there is something to this or if it’s just in my head, but there definitely seems to be a correlation. A theory I have is that the higher alkaloid levels lead to more “crystal-y”, grainy textures. I also know that different grinds affect the look and feel but this seems to be more of an inherent property rather than grind fineness. Has anyone else noticed this or think there’s any validity to it?

If you add smell and taste I'm right there with you sometimes it seems the stinky thick grind is the best,,but other days it's the powder/nano thats the ticket.It seems the more I try to figure it out the less I know.Today I had some of TFH true red Malay its smooth and creamy its one I love to taste strange.I ll definitely be following this thread.
