Everything you read about this subject is going to be antidotal and essentially mean nothing. There has not been studies on kratom and hairloss. It's not something I would worry about. I have been talking it for 12 years and i come from a long line of balding men. I still have more hair than anyone else in my family has at my age. I guess antidotal evidence for me is that it's helping me keep my hair! If you are concerned just use minoxidil once a day before bed.

I took it in combination with Calcium and started feeling better after 3 or 4 days. This was a couple of years ago - but it was a pretty quick change if I recall correctly. Now I have to maintain in the colder months by taking 5000 iu of Vitamin D (order my next supply from here here yesterday).

Living in Utah gives me real bad seasonal depression :P Hair loss is a thing in my family anyway - I'll be bald in a year or so.

I’ve always had a full head of hair. So thick to the point that the barbers need to use thinning scissors when I get my haircut. I have noticed a dramatic difference in the thickness of my hair. I did notice I did not have these effects when I was constantly exercising. my two cents peace.

I’ve been taking leaf for about 8 years and my hair is fine. No hair loss or thinning. Just a few grays so far :lol:

I'm a 36 yr old female, and I have experienced thinning hair since starting kratom about 2 years ago. I don't have any bald patches or anything as of now, but my once-thick locks are significantly thinner..

Hey guys I am new here and I want to say that I am experiencing hair fall. Reddit seems to be biased towards this claim. Not ever going to hate on kratom for this just want to discuss truth. I have very long and thick hair and just starting taking saw palmetto and putting rosemary and castor oil on my head. I’m going to check back in in a month and let y’all know my results. If anything I should try let me know. Natural is my favorite route though. Thanks y’all

So you’re saying that exercising while taking kratom made your hair stop falling out? Maybce something to do with blood flow. Just wanted to make sure that’s what you meant

I know what you mean and agree. It seems Reddit users are eating leaf like freaking Koala Bears. Humans aren’t meant to eat that much leaf. Some of those guys are eating 50-70g a day. I personally find that crazy as I get the best results at 15-20 grams, but everyone is different, so I’m not being critical of anyone. Over several months my tolerance will creep up to 30 grams and that’s when I take a break. During the time I’m at 30 grams and the entire 10-12 days I take a reset break I do notice hair loss. Sometimes considerable. But once I reset back down to my usual 15 grams, it seems to help a lot with the hair loss. I started in January buying Moringa and capping it. I take about 3 grams a day, 5-7 days a week and my hair starts growing back like crazy. I have a full head of hair and I’m 51. When I say full head of hair I’m talking about when I was a teenager playing guitar and a big haired metal head banger. So keeping tolerance low and Moringa seems to work great for me. I also take a little Biotin each day, but I’m not sure if that’s doing anything.
Wanted to respond to this. A lot of people say they take like freaking 2 grams a dose and have wads of hair coming out?! Like what?! I take 30 a day and I have definitely thinned out a ton but it’s all even no bald spots or wads in the shower. 2 grams seems like so little to affect people in that way?! Now you say when you take 15 grams a day your hair gets better and then morgina made it thicker while taking kratom? Hope this is what you mean. Thank you so much.

You have to factor in dosage and how often you take. Daily every other day once a week? I wouldn’t say it means nothing I think it means a lot of something... and because people are saying this doesn’t mean we all hate kratom and it’s an evil plant we just hope studies can be done to prove this without making it look like this plant is evil. We all know it isn’t. But we also want to discuss facts and real results. I am just saying I don’t think people’s common results mean nothing. I’m glad you haven’t lost your hair! ❤️

I'm here because i too have noticed a big reduction in hair over the past 2 years. Although i've been using Kratom 4-5 times a week at bedime for about 2 years, i can't definitively blame this amazing substance.
The reasons being, that i only consume 1 tsp of Bali powder or leaf at a time, and only once per 24 hours;
although my hair volume has depleted by half, my body hair has increased, and my lashes are awesome;
my hair has been bleached and highlighted and is very broken and damaged- this is definitely a contributor;
i'm 38 and have frequent and unwarranted fight or flight reactions (aka: stress) because of a f*cked up nervous system- no autoimmune diseases though...
so therefore i can't pin point Kratom as the cause.

On my scalp i use rosemary, cedarwood and folliboost, and have seen new gray hair growth; i have also stopped coloring my hair since last year, as i grow it out...fingers crossed.

I'll try moringa again, it didn't seem to do much the first time I tried it.
Just a little side note/question: have you looked into EMF's and hair loss? Our bedrooms should be radiation free zones; only since recently humans have been inundated with constant radiofrequencies.

Hi all I had hairloss from hypothyroidism before kratom I started taking moringa and biotin its stopped my hairloss and I haven't noticed any new hairloss since starting kratom although I ve heard many people talk about it could it be something in the soil?I love moringa it has many benefits and iys a natural vitamin.I really like the ACV rinse im gonna have to check it out.I use kratom in place of prescription med for pain and energy and I think if it caused me to lose hair I d be ok with that,but I agree it s something we should be aware of.

Hey Granny how much Moringa do you take and where do you find the best quality ? I’ve heard other people mention it as a cure for Kratom induced hair loss. Wouldn’t that be wonderful !
