Kratom and Talking in your sleep!?

I’ll make this quick.
Has anyone else noticed or been made aware of taking in your sleep after taking Kratom at night?
Dude, I have been taking in my sleep like crazy ever since taking Kratom at night. It’s not bad(although my wife would disagree) it’s just really weird!!
Anyone else have that happen to them??

I've been told I talk/yell in my sleep as well. It started happening long before I discovered kratom though. Especially on nights I drank a lot.

But in your case, it's possible. Does kratom make you dream more/less? Do you remember your dreams?

Talking in sleep? Did you have this issue as well before kratom? I think it can definitely increase the effects, i sometimes think/talk out loud and noticed i do it more often, kratom makes you more in the moment so you dont even realize it until some one says, did you say something?...

Never ever no dreams on kratom, i only got weird strange dreams sleeping at my GF place and friends place, but to be expected since they have tons of wifi equipment. Fro what i know , 2.5 hertz is wifi, same as your brain waves, so it would not be a huge surprise if it affects our mood and dreams. Home, all is wired, no wifi. Ever since i started sleeping on grounding mat, never had weird dreams. Only dreams that make sense.

I have had pretty crazy dreams on and off. I usually remember parts of them. As far as taking in my sleep goes I do a little bit but not every night.
Until now. I guess I’m talking all through the night. My dreams are SUPER VIVID too. And more bad than good.
It’s weird. I guess I’m keeping my wife up pretty bad so….
I don’t know. Maybe I’ll try to take less at night….
(Or sleep on the couch, which I really would rather avoid!

Try sleeping on Grounded mat, i dont think you will have more bad or even any. Try it and get back to share your findings. give it a week, that enough to tell the difference if you dream everyday.

Wow, nice new possibility I wouldn't have thought of! - because it hasn't happened to me that I know of. (No wife so sound activated recorder action!)
This is distantly related to something I do experience but I haven't found many others talking about. Sure I'll (have to) mention but about your sleep talking:
As for why (commenting "off the top"- no claims to known fact)... I'd guess it stems from clarity of consciousness - Due to heightened mental clarity from certain kratom varieties or a way you respond to any... Your sense of presence in a dream might be so clear that you confidently and "atypically" reach over to get your body involved in physically speaking. I've known someone that sleep walks- notoriously if drinking at all. Tends to urinate in random places. Tell your wife it could be worse, lol.

My thing isn't unconscious but I"ve had hyper clarity dreams fro kraom. This thing involves dreaming while relaxed and awake. .. in a "meditative" state. Yea I"m just imagining but it's visualizing "on steroids" without intent or effort.. spontaneous and with a life of it's own it seems. Places I've never seen before. With full clarity and sensory awareness- the air, smells, mood, sounds- more real than real actually.... but without compromise of either state of awareness. I'll sit writing about the place I am- in the dream, in full detail while I'm enjoying it (has always been nice thankfully). 10 min perfect vacations (usually at dusk or fading into night- in the dream) - It's nice... and no travel pains lol. Pretty cool! Been a while since this happened. This happens usually winter nights when using a mix of mostly reds, slow greens & a little white. Drowsiness comes between the 2nd / 3rd hour. Before that- possible spontaneous mental imaging. That or rather productive wrap up and then easy sleep.

I was thinking this morning and just realized... around the time I started kratom, I also started waking up in the middle of the night, half-asleep, eating a hard candy (like a lifesavers mint or somesuch) and going back to bed. I have no idea what caused this habit. I also started colchicine around the same time but none of the side effects lists contain anything remotely comparable to sleep-eating. Thankfully it's just the one piece of candy (as evidenced by the single wrapper I find the next morning), and it could be a totally spontaneous thing that has nothing to do with kratom, but I remembered this thread and figured I ought to add my own sleep weirdness just in case.
