Any research/data exist on long term Kratom use?
Hi there,
I've been on and off of using Kratom, practically speaking, as a replacement for SSRI's.
I'm looking for information/research - formal, anecdotal or otherwise, on how people have fared with daily use of 10-15g a day, for months (and longer) at a time? The assumption is that I am buying from reputable vendors that test for quality and safety and whose livelihood depends on happy, repeat customers.
Can anyone help?
Thanks!

Well I don’t know about 20 years or any specific research links but plenty people have took those dosages including me for anywhere from a year, or longer with no side effects but everyone is different. Though my personal opinion is that if kratom works for you as an effective antidepressant I would say it’s better than antidepressants health wise but this is just an opinion not medical advice. Though I could be bias because antidepressants never worked for me as much as getting sleep, and trying to live as healthy as possible through my means. The good thing about kratom is it’s affordable. So if it works find a couple vendors you like, and make sure to rotate different batches to keep from getting used to any specific one. Buy by the kilo to save money, and you can take that dose daily pretty cheap like a dollar at the highest dose you mentioned. Never start something that ain’t sustainable in my opinion but kratom is very sustainable so no worries there.

You can get many refferences from pre-review WHO report. In the end of report there's so many journals as refferences, you can search about kratom consumer behavior in "Sing D" journals. He make some research about that.Shimmery Heavyweight wrote: ↑Thu Mar 31, 2022 10:06 am Hi there,
