Kratom Interactions with Prescription Medications (Vyvanse)

Hey guys,
So I've reached out to a few different sources regarding this, including my own Personal doctor, and no one can seem to give me a straight answer (I understand why - I can't imagine there's been a lot of research into these interactions).

I was recently prescribed Vyvanse for A-ADHD, something I have struggled with for years and am FINALLY getting treatment for - yay!
BUT - I am an avid Kratom consumer, usually ranging around 12g a day (2.85g at a time), 4 times a day, every 5/6 hours for energy, euphoria, and general improvement of QOL. I've been using kratom regularly for a little over a year now.
I am curious if anybody else here is currently on or has been on Vyvanse, and could tell me the interactions - if any - that take place during combined use.

The cause for my concern/curiosity is mainly rooted in that Vyvanse is what is referred to as a prodrug, which means that the pill you take isn't the chemical that actually does the work. The actual chemical is lisdexmamfetamine, which gets converted in your liver into dextroamphetamine, a pretty classic ADHD med - the key word being dextroAMPHETAMINE.
Kratom, containing Mitragynine (an opioid agonist, by my understanding) combined with an Amphetamine, is a little concerning for me personally, because from what I've learned, the combination of the two (amphetamine - upper, opioid agonist - downer(?)) can be dangerous.

Having lost my father a few years ago to a fatal cocktail of amphetamines and opioids, I am naturally a bit concerned that these two substances can be extremely counteractive, if not dangerous when used in combination. I began using kratom to curb my own addictions to opioids, having had a proclivity for morphine in the past, and have never been one to dabble into the realm of amphetamines apart from some one-off stints at parties (we're not gonna talk about that.. lmao)

So yeah, can anyone break down the potential risks or interactions, if any, between these two substances? All of my research and questions thus far have yielded no real answer.

Sorry about your dad. I take adderall and kratom all the time. I don't take kratom as much as you do and I also don't take my adderall every day but I've never had any issues. You might not feel the need to use the kratom as much on meds. Not a doctor and hopefully you get some more helpful responses but just figured I'd share my experience.

I had similar concerns and made a thread about this a few months ago if you want to try and track it down. Def got a few scientific responses but nothing that stopped me from just trying it.

Vyvance is basically fancy adderall btw lol so I'd imagine if it's bad/good to mix either with kratom it's the same with the other.

I am a software engineer whos been on adderall/vyvanse for the past 5 years. I combine it with Kratom all the time. But Im trying to cut back a bit on my kratom usage, so I will take Adderall/Vyvanse in the morning and by 3pm Ill take a bit of kratom to boost it. Ive felt no negative interactions between kratom & adderall. It smooths out the anxiety. Also, I can get away with taking a lot less kratom with my adderall, barely 1 gram

I've taken Vyvanse recreationally and continued dosing kratom throughout the day along with it and it was fine, I would even go so far as to say that they synergize. Its just not the same with Adderall, I've given up trying, and the Vyvanse girl died last year of a fent OD (ironically, she decided at the last minute to trade her script to this scumbag for the exact fent that killed her instead of selling them to a few friends, one of them being me.)
I would be much more concerned with the fact that kratom and Vyvanse are both pro-drugs. (Isn't that the consensus? Mit turns to 7-OHM in the liver?) That's a lot of work for your liver.

JUST DON'T GO NUTS AND YOU'LL BE FINE.

By the way, I was only taking one at a time on Lotsa work days, not habitually popping them and growing a new dependence. I try to be responsible with my drug use.

Appreciate the input! Very helpful man. I started looking into the pro-drug thing as well, but I literally only dose 2.85 exactly a few times a day so I don't think im tooooo concerned about that end of things.
I have found that if I take something speedy (a white strain), it gets overwhelming, where if I take a Green or Red strain, I feel GLOWY AF. Not a bad thing at all.
