Someone please help me understand stem and vein in the context of tolerance

So most stem and vein is .6mit. AVERAGE real leaf is around 1.2mit. So wouldn’t taking stem and vein be the exact same as taking a 1/2 dose of leaf?

Completely different alkaloids. If you have some crushed leaf, grind it up and take a dose of it. Its completely different

Have you ground it up in a coffee grinder and taken a dose? Its always a coarse grind

First off, are you of the opinion that Mit and 7OHM (and/or Mit---->7OHM) are the main alkaloids that create kratoms effect, or maybe we put too much emphasis on that and the 46 other alkaloids may play a part as well?

I'm not really sure, to be honest. it seems like mit and 7ohm are well established to be the primary psychoactive ingredients, but I don't think we should write off all the other alkaloids too easily. and there have definitely been times where a batch has high mit% and not hit. but there's only so much that one study can show. although I'm not up on all the latest research coming out of that U of F study, or if it's even still ongoing...so many questions.

I have noticed that some vendors' labs show levels of some of the other alks, but I've never seen labs from a stem & vein, so it would be cool to at least compare and contrast.
