I'm coming back to the Kommunity after a 3 year break. I used to hang out on the discord and meet an talk with vendors and folks there. I found this forum through reddit and figured it's the place to be these days.

Anyways looking to find some lab tested vendors to order capsules and maybe extracts from.

Also, any other online Kommunities I should be aware of where people talk vendors and experiences and whatnot?

Sounds like you are already on reddit, there's a few subs there that id of mentioned where you can talk shop. Just gotta be cautious alot of fake news, fire recs that arent and new people who are just starting out.

Unfortunately, Okies has capsules but I can't find they're lab tests and Otie's has lab test but no capsules

Any other thoughts?

If you email Okie's they may be able to send you labs, they're currently by SKU on the bags.

I'd be careful buying capsules from anyone.

As we all know here, even the same strain from a well-vetted vendor may not "hit" the same way. So folks reviewing a particular strain here by and large refer to the batch number - this is the ONLY way you have of knowing you are getting more or less even the same thing. I have NEVER seen any capsules identified by strain number (and suspect this logistics of this would make it too expensive). So you are trying buying a pig in a poke if you get someone's capsules, no matter how good the vendor is otherwise.

So I would echo the remark that you can make your own capsules and I would go further and say you should. If capsules are what you want (and they are the only way *I* can take kratom) then it's easy and kind of fun to make your own. Spend around $50 (it used to be cheaper but the Capsule-IT machine keeps going up in price), get their great machine that makes 100 at one go, and some empty caps from Amazon and get to it!

I make around 500 capsules in 90 minutes. Each capsule holds .5 gram, so 4-5 ought to be enough for a normal dose. I put a movie on and find that I don't even have to look at what I'm doing, it's that natural now (but it WILL take you some time to get used to it).

Lab tested vendors usually charge more. It's kinda cool to see the mitr a level but low Mitra level batches have been fire so don't put too much into those numbers

I'm mostly going capsules at the moment cause I'm coming back to kratom after years of time off and I'm unsure if I want to invest in everything to make my own. I've also never had issues with capsules hitting any differently. I used to toss and wash or even suspend and chug, but I can't do it anymore. Even the thought makes me nauseous...

I emailed okies but haven't heard back. I may just order a few and scan the qr when they arrive. My biggest concern is heavy metals, particularly lead

Does anybody have some recent okies lab tests they could post?
I'm just trying to get a general idea of what their heavy metals look like

All of the Okie’s tests I’ve seen don’t have heavy metals reported, just mit %. Pretty sure they test for them though, I’d recommend emailing them, they are very responsive.

I've never seen any capsules that Okie sells.

You can spend as little as $20 to get a device to make capsules, and then as little as $10 for the empty capsules themselves. It's not exactly a huge investment to make them and as I said, I've never seen a vendor who sold capsules who even identifies what strain is in them, let alone any tests.
