I’m just curious what your opinion is on this?
I saw that Dragons Den has blue lotus but it’s password protected, and to get the password you have to join this club on the small batch sub/reddit. Personally I think this is kinda silly. I’d rather buy from places that care about all of their customers.

looked into it because I thought it was $5 a month and you would get sent a sampler of leaf from different vendors (which would actually be a pretty good deal). Then I saw it was $5 a month just to have ACCESS to the club and thought, "nah i'm good"

Looking at the list of vendors there are SO many that I have never heard of.

well, here’s the thing, i could easily pay $5 a month. Sounds affordable for sure. The thing is tho- i really don’t wanna be a part of something like that. I feel like everyone should have access to the same deals as other people, despite whether you’re in a special club or not. However, i understand those that are into it- it’s just not for me. Again, $5 is nothing- but the idea of it kinda rubs me the wrong way.
I mean I got an email with a $10 off sale from Dragons Den, and when i went to the website i couldn’t buy certain items because i’m not in the “Special” club

Yeah, I think it's a bit ridiculous. It's kind of off-putting for a potential customer to get the vibe that they're not good enough or special enough to buy a product. And the idea of paying to be part of a group of special people who get the privilege to buy something... well, look at my first sentence.

I saw it and didn't like the idea. Their justification is they have smaller amounts of special product they don't have enough of to offer to everyone so it gives you a chance to get stuff you couldn't otherwise. I didn't ask but what if 100-200 people joined, then what?

Yeah it’s mostly made up of pop up vendors and Reddit vendors that the particular group always seems to prop up. The small batch club lol it’s a little silly to me

Exactly. A few noobs start a group "Small Batch" on Reddit - then promote mostly "Big Batch" popups who buy domestic Wholesale crap. Like most things kratom... it's marketing BS.

It's bad because a LOT of people really NEED kratom & are being taken advantage of, by profiteers. Sales Pitch. . well in my younger days I did work in Sales. Both inside, Telemarketing, and outside, Territory Rep... You learn all the tricks. How to manipulate people and get them to... Buy. The Kratom BIZ, is full of slick sales scams... This whole idea of "Try" my kratom. For money ? Then I'm not Trying anything - I'm Buying something. You want me to Try ? Send it for free then.

Another WELL known Sales technique is... The "Take Away". You make something seem, rare, special, hard-to-get... NO, You can't HAVE my kratom! Sorry!! People immediately get FOMO and conned into paying too much... For something that's not rare or special AT ALL - it's the same average green powder as 90% other vendors have... that's what these "Private Vendors" are doing. They're doing the Take Away, gag and people are falling for it.

They banned me for asking mitra mike for labs on his extract. He said trust me bro its safe that he uses non toxic solutions. And then he reported me and i got banned.

The mod said i harassed him for making that one comment. The dude mitra mike then went and found me on Facebook and then said he doesnt post labs because he doesnt want to get doxxed. I then told him your doxxing me isnt that the dumbest thing in the world. I realized that sub is full of dumb.

I was just about to ask this same question. I was inquiring about a vendors product (which I’ve bought from before multiple times) and they said it’s only available to the connoisseur club members, which I found out is a monthly fee. I agree with you, I think it’s kind of silly and just a way to take advantage of a lot the Reddit newbies.

Proceeds go to funding the out of pocket costs for the private Marshall Price investigations (the guy that pulled over with kratom and was mysteriously killed in jail while awaiting a 10 year sentence for kratom possession) that the family can't afford. It's also a legitimate service for $5 a month. Exclusive products, vendor collab blends, discounts, etc.

Not everything is what it seems Assumptions are extremely contagious. It's literally a charity.
