Harry was kind enough to throw in some samples in my recent kilo order, and i'd love to get opinions on these so at least i have an idea of what time of day to take them.
OG Red Thai MD-is this fast like an MD...or slow like a red? Yellow Magic--yellows normally dont do much for me, but there have been exceptions... Super Green Aceh-how does this compare to a wild green? Red Horn Sulawesi-never had any red horn, but my guess is this would be a night strain, correct? :z
Thanks all!! I'll be posting reviews once i've tried them each a few times, but curious what others think.
OG red thai MD. Red Thai+premium red md+a touch of green asia
Yellow magic - red asia + super yellow+og white md (not a typical yellow)
supergreen aceh - Strong green md or supergreen. Green aceh I love it. No blending
Redhorn sulawesi: indoor dried red so not as slow as typical reds due the the lack of sun exposure. Id say this is afternoon but all results are individualized.
To add the harry, he just said he changed yellow magic from red Asia to red MD on MeWe (not sure if he's selling it that way yet though). I personally loooove yellow magic, a very mellow mood lifting strain, but not sedating at all. One of those any time strains. If I'm making a blend I almost always throw a gram of it in there. That's the only one from your list I have had though.
As consumers, many of us love blending, almost daily.. But when it comes to KOG "strains" I say leave it to the expert - He seems to have a good feel about what ratio's work best. Nice to have a KOG Magic blend and know it's perfect, right out of the box!!
I also love his MD Ultra and have never thought about, any further mixing. So great, just like it is

Yellow magic- for me it's a nice mood lift with not a lot of energy to it. helps with pain too! I can pretty much take it any time of day with positive results.
Super green aceh- really, really solid. This is quite potent! Felt it come on pretty quickly (15-20 mins) and it lasted for a good while (4 hours is long for me). The effects were like a warm ball of happiness was climbing up my chest and into my head. Saying I was in a good mood is an understatement. Also had some easy going and pleasant energy to it. I didn't need to get up and do stuff but I did have the motivation to tackle a few unwanted tasks without being grumpy about it. Also inspired me to take a nice evening stroll and all the colors at sunset seemed even more beautiful. Afterwards I was able to come back and relax on my couch with ease. My anxiety was non existent and evenings are when that can plague me the most. Also it melted my back pain away. For a few hours it felt like everything was right with my world. Definitely glad I listened to Harry's advice and bought 250g without sampling first because it's a new favorite!

I'd say so, yes. I think the reds definitely overpower the white. I kinda felt like I had a half cup of coffee specifically in my chest, yet the rest of me felt super mellow and down to just sit on the couch and watch tv. Probably my favorite strain of his that I've had.
