Good News. Looks like they finally found a non-Maga Republican in the House, to support a federal kratom Bill. :D Democrats have been the main supporters of kratom in both House and Senate.

Rep. Mark Pocan D-Wisconsin leads the Progressive caucus, and is our #1 supporter in Congress... In the Senate, it's been U.S. Senators Mike Lee (R-UT) and Cory Booker (D-NJ), so they had a Senate bill bipartisan a few months ago... On the House side, bill needed a Republican to break ranks (the stupid conservatives want to ban it!) so it's Rep. Jack Bergman R-Michigan who stepped up!! Article LINK =

Actually, Rep. Jack Bergman's career record (over 3 US House of Reps terms) is voting with President Trump's positions 95.7% of the time. Not surprising, what with his being a retired USMC Lieutenant General.

It's great to see Republicans - who I don't expect much more out of than I do out of the Democrats, to be honest - taking a stand for kratom. :D

For those who haven't read the article that boureka linked above, I highly recommend reading it. Great news for kratom, and I hope more of them on both sides of the aisle will get a clue about our marvelous leaf!

The general public who actually uses Kratom comment about how it was a "life saver". When a YouTube video or article about Kratom appears ( even on Web MD ), and other articles that are "good vs. bad" type, there are over a thousand comments. 95% of them are very positive. It is going to be a battle for the feds to try to ban this very helpful plant. I hope soon the conversation will turn and articles about the many benefits of Kratom use will start to dominate. The scare tactics do not work anymore. People are trying it at an increasing rate, so millions of people will be in Kratom's corner.

The FIRST thing that has to happen is that these lawmakers, journalists, FDA, NIH etc people; have to understand this basic fact. Kratom is not enhanced kràtom. Nor is it adulterated kratom. If I read these articles about kratom deaths without knowing what it really was, I'd want it banned too.

I just saw this morning that Dr. Mercola has a pro-kratom video on Bitchute.

Good to see him standing up for individual freedom, as he always does; he's a controversial figure, but mostly because he presents healthy alternatives to Big Pharma and Big Med, and the establishment doesn't like that. I've followed him for a while, I'm not really surprised to see him supporting kratom use, it fits right in with most of what does. :D

I haven't watched it through yet, heading back...

Yes that is great news. It's bipartisan too. Nice to see the government work together for the benefit of the people. Seems like a rare event these days.
