Are DTE and wildcraft REALLY the best non private?

Are they worth the hype? Or are there other non-private vendors who are just as good?

Just curious if it really is legit. I just...?... In the years ive been using kratom..im not used to vendors running out so fast ...and i wonder...?
Are people chasing them cuz they are the new shiny thing...and because of that..somewhat exclusive? Is it worth it?
I jus want the truth. If i ask reddit. Everyone will totally talk them up. Sometimes i dont trust reddit now... I really do think there are ppl being "hired" for reviews.

Is wild craft and DTE any better than that?

Anyone want to sell me a sampler ? Im on a REALLY tight budget n hurting bad financially
so i don't need much but if you have any to spare maybe we can work something out? Im happy with a half oz of a few strains?

DTE has definitely had some great batches. Are they better than such batches offered by, say, Heavenleaf, or Otis’s or Lucky’s? I wouldn’t say so — my own opinion is right now a LOT of vendors are getting great batches (perhaps a great season happened long enough ago that it is now getting harvested shipped by nearly everyone?).

My main problem with DTE is it’s a crapshoot - you need to order from them without ANY reviews because their quantities are so small they sell out in one day. I’ve run about 50/50 with the ones I’ve bought from them so to me it’s not worth the high price (twice as much as any other batch I have the opportunity to read reviews on). Your luck - or particular chemistry - might be better.

I'll start out with the fact that I am a BIG FAN of DTE. Same with Wildcraft. I have had theirs and all the private vendor kratom out there at least on these forums, Reddit, Discord, MeWe, etc. Of course, they are not perfect, and not every product has hit for me. The same goes for private vendors such as TFH, NOD, and D615. But to address the original question, are they the best non-private vendors out there? I'd argue there are others just AS GOOD and sometimes better if you take into account the difference between batches.

Some that come to mind are West Koast Botanicals, Benni's, Liza's Botanicals, Fused Flora and Oaties. Any one of these is just as good as DTE or Wildcraft and I buy from them all. I like to try new vendors as well. Why wouldn't you? I've found some real gems that way and some very unique products. So I don't really exclude any vendor from potentially being the best. Keep an open mind and keep trying new things is my advice.

I shared an option to your inbox. The thing with these sources is - it really isn't this thing or that thing What' better is what fits your needs, situation and with the product- it' helps to know what you want. Know your use cases. The why's. And then.. it's what if.. mill around some problem solving ideas and don't toss out left field possibilities because I've tested many looong stretch ideas I wouldn't' have told anyone about and still rarely do. because they panned out! Then I go from there to the next long shot to see it it could happen. Kratom has been too kind.

Down to earth. The whole best is hard to quantify. I just ordered from wildcraft for first time so excited to try em and had decent luck w dte but havent ordered from them since early on. I encourage trial, see what vibes w you. My next stop is lizas since i never tried her. Happy hunting.

DTE is great, similar quality to the top private vendors and similarly priced. Only downside is that they sell out super quick. I'm not in interested in trying Wildcraft, lot of good options to get leaf from.

You can find reviews for upcoming strains on their Discord channel. You might get one or two on DoubleM. The Discord is pretty crucial for keeping up with their drops IMO, and the group is very chill. Mewe is also highly recommended for keeping up with other vendors like Denette, Nodfather, Heavenleaf, etc.

DTE (IMO) has the best reds of any public vendor right now. I'm mostly a green guy but I like to keep a mix of the whole spectrum in the stash and his reds are incredible. DTE usually has great stock left over after the initial rush but the most sought after reds (and some greens like Classic green md/green hulu) seem to get snapped up quickly.

I don't like to comment about 'best' when it comes to kratom. i think that there are quite a few vendors that can be considered top notch, and if you like a particular vendors strains consistently, then no one can tell you that it isn't good, unless as you test more and more vendors, you find that you like others more. But even then, you might find out that when you try them again, you love them.

i did want to put in a good word for Wildcraft though. They haven't 'broken the ice' much here, but they have excellent kratom, that just feels so fresh to me. I have a bunch of it, and i think if you are experimenting with public vendors, they are emphatically worth a try. They are very nice people also.

I haven't tried Wildcraft but DTE has been great lately. Sign up on the DTE Botanicals website for email notifications when they have drops. Super fast shipping and great quality.

Absolutely. Is there really a need to "TRY" 200 vendors/ 1500 batches... when it's all Plain Leaf powder around 1% to 1.5% Mitragynine ?? Seriously.

HOW much variation can there possibly be ? Kind of a silly Title. We checked Wildcraft before doing the recent Vendor List LINK - And "Wildcraft" had zero kratom. Nada. Bumpkus. Blank... Nothing. NO kratom in stock!! ~ So why would ANY teeny tiny micro vendor that stock's maybe 20 Kilos... be considered "The Best" ??

I mean I get HOW the newer, smaller, little guys have to start somewhere... OK. But 1- They don't have much kratom, 2- They don't have many Suppliers, 3- They "Sell what they Get" whether it's a strong batch or NOT ? and 4- They don't have much History. Experience. Connections... that's IF they are really importing at all ? VS buying Wholesale domestic... The BEST vendors, overall - Should probably be... those with the longest Track Record in this business ? Just sayin'

oh, come on. The actual question was talking about the quality of the kratom that they sell, not whether over all they fit your particular idiosyncratic definition of a good vendor. And i have trouble reconciling threads i've read where you talk about loving good quality kratom, and then you put down people for actually expressing a preference. Your opinion here is of course fine, but you are very obviously not answering the question that was asked.
