What to do with underwhelming kratom?

I've accumulated a lot more kratom than I reasonably need. There's quite a few bags I don't have any interest in, especially the lower quality bulk stuff. I've given some away, but I feel kind of bad giving someone a batch that I wouldn't use myself.

I tried making an extract out of one. It does the trick but it's still not a pleasant burn, it just feels like I took an equivalent amount of the leaf I made it out of. I used vinegar so I'm not sure if there's other solvents that are more selective.

If all else fails I'm just going to start throwing it out. I don't like the feeling of hoarding stuff. It makes sense to hoard kratom that's high quality but I'm not sure there's any point to keeping kratom I don't plan to use. Mixing it with something better gets a bit of mileage out of it, but there's no shortage of good kratom around so I'm not sure I really need to stretch it.

Is there anything worthwhile to do with lower quality kratom?

Mix them together into a Trainwreck, save that bag for tapering down to do a tolerance break?
That has the advantage of eliminating the clutter of multiple bags. Just use one or two big freezer sized ziplocks.

Second alternative is to do the above but mix with it with some extract enhanced Kratom that was on sale.

Third alternative is to use a serving of that Trainwreck intermittently as a "palate cleanse" between more potent doses.

I do the same except we call it Houseblend. We have white, green, and red houseblends in large ball jars.

I do the same. I take underwhelming batches and mix them all together into one big, random blend.

Sometimes I make tea with them too. Making tea is messy and time consuming, so I really have to be in the mood for some tea lol.

You could also try the red bubble method to see if perhaps you could potentiate it.

Sounds like a plan. It'd make sense that a variety of batches mixed together will compensate for some shortcomings. It'll save some space to consolidate too.

I like the "house blend" name better than trainwreck so I'm going to call it that

As a Choo Choose, it's no wonder!

I also have a lot of bags from the first couple years I know I'll never use taking up space and feel skeptical that mixing several low quality or not the greatest will make much diff, do you find it surprises you with decent burns?

Yes, sometimes.

I vacuum seal them and store them away for a rainy day (like a kratom ban). Usually those weak batches will start working after a couple weeks of using them.

If that's not an issue for you, I like your idea of using them to experiment with making extracts.

Definitely keep for brewing: Red Bubble Tea / Home Extract ... I recently got a Aeropress XL - The best tool for Tea making, imo.. Holds 20 ounces so > double the standard Aeropress... My quick recipe :: Weigh out 10 grams powder, plus 8+ grams Crushed Leaf, into a Pyrex pitcher or small pan. Add some acid - 1/8 tsp pure Citric acid OR 3 tsp ACV apple cider vinegar. Now Add < 20 oz water below boiling, around 195º temp. Stir well and cover... I then use a "double boiler" pan setup to SIMMER on Low for < 1 hour. Keep at 190º or less...

Final Step - Add some distilled water, bring up to 18 oz. Add pinch of Baking Soda to raise pH & neutralize the acid... Pour entire thing into your Aeropress! - (A few minutes of steady pressure, forces Tea through paper filter.) - Makes about 8+ Servings! Add your favorite MiO flavoring - Store cold in fridge.
