I want Soul, but...is this new rule...new???

I have trolled Soultanic. He has the only green on earth I seem to dig...particularly, strains with the name Nanga in them.
But you have to order 50$ worth of stuff and that doesn't include shipping? 50? Even if I got two 125g bags, it wouldn't amount to 50.
I'm kind of uncomfortable by this.

Isn’t soultanic the one who does random limited time drops where you have like a one hour window to order? I don’t have the time nor desire to deal with that so I’ve never tried them. I prefer browsing a website in one tab with Double M reviews open in another tab, adding to cart, and checking out at my own pace.
That being said, most kilos are $80-$100 so I don’t think a $50 minimum order sounds unreasonable. They have to assemble, bag it, and ship the order so I understand the reasoning.

Yeah, I get it. But my budget allows for 125g at a time. I totally would have ordered, but two 125's end up 40$. Thus, I have to get a minimum of 3/4 a kilo. That is what the issue is really. I can't order 125g, got it. I can't order 125g x 2 or a 250g because that doesn't make it to 50$. You know what I'm saying? It feels kind of crappy.

Leafs decent but can be frustrating ordering as things in my cart have sold out while I'm checking out. So I get not wanting to rush order. Ive never bought less than $50 worth so no help w OP question, sorry bout that.

No problem! Last time I sauntered over it hadn't sold out yet. I think it is because for awhile it was money orders only. Now I think that situation has resolved itself, but it has been a minute since I ordered and I couldn't drop a 50 on leaf I haven't had in...well, a minute.

The one and only time I bought from Soul, the main batch I wanted sold out while it was in my cart; I went back and got a different one and ANOTHER one in my cart had sold out.
Then he chewed me out in an email for misunderstanding something about how his purchasing worked.
I was pretty new to kratom at the time, and it was a total turn off. I never went back, plus I found his leaf to be average at best anyway. But we all know how different kratom is for everybody.
I just don't deal with assholes, in any part of my life. All it takes is once.

His whole ordering system is strange. I won’t order from vendors who operate like that. I don’t have the patience to wait for extremely small windows of time to maybe get the strains I wanted. I wonder if it’s artificial scarcity to drive FOMO sales.

I got some off trade chat, and was happy with it, but not worth sweating over for sure.
