Kratom/Lisinopril/Blood Pressure

Hello! Long-time kratom user, first time poster. Started taking Lisinopril for high blood pressure, and have noticed bad interactions with kratom. Dizziness, confusion, etc. - from what I have gathered, Kratom may boost the powers of the Lisinopril and actually lower blood pressure too much, to the point where one gets light-headed or dizzy.

Has anyone else used Lisinopril and experienced similar symptoms?

Lisinopril gave me those side effects even without kratom. I switched to Losartan and have zero side effects with it.

Do you monitor your blood pressure with a cuff? Need to be sure it's not going too low.

I've been taking Lisinopril for MANY years now (and kratom for almost as long) and ever noticed any interaction.

Not lisinopril but I’ve had no issues with metoprolol or propranolol. What other meds do you take?

I've never had an issue with it taking atenolol. But I was taking it for
anxiety, my blood pressure is nice and low for my age.

One thing I don't have to worry about.

I've taken it for several years and never had anything like that. I do think at beginning I got the "head rush" when standing and such. It did go away for the most part after a month or so. I take the hctz 20/12 or whatever,so higher than normal dose I think.

I take Lisinopril and have taken Kratom for 10 years but never had the symptoms you are describing. Maybe talk to your doctor because it's probably a reaction you are getting from the Lisinopril and has nothing to do with the Kratom. Also, I take my Lisinopril at bed time so you might try that.
