Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt.

I do NOT recommend it. As with anything it's a rabbit hole you can fall down in (and I did, big time). I'd recommend sticking with professional made ones (you can't get close to what they do, even with thousands of dollars worth of equipment. Which I still have. Sigh).

That's disappointing to hear lol. May I ask which methods you tried and what the results were strength wise? Thanks

It's a long story but let's just say I ended up using the most intense method anyone can (namely, using a machine to "boil away" all the 95% alcohol used to dissolve the kratom). It was incredibly messy (the distillate of kratom will stain ANYTHING, including chrome), expensive (you need to use pure alcohol and have a machine that can boil away nearly all of it) and time consuming (and noisy). And the end result wasn't any better than taking four or five of my capsules of powder I currently make.

I can only say - do NOT go down that rabbit hole. You've been warned (the folks who can do it right have the ability to further dry out the concentrate using machines that can do this properly. We amateurs can try using ovens or even just solar but it can take WEEKS to get it dry enough with that approach. So you're left with this sludge that is the worse tasting crap you've ever tasted, even a tiny drop of it will make you vomit).

And you have to ask yourself - what the heck are you trying to accomplish? If it's the powder you don't like, make capsules. They are small enough so you can take a bottle to last a week with you even on a vaca. They are powerful enough to give you the right dose, and they are EASY to make (you can make 400 in about 30 minutes). Four capsules are 2 grams, and if that's not enough for you take another one or two capsules. No taste, no waste, no worries.

I've been there done that... Very Time consuming :o So I guess IF you're a "hobbyist" and you're INTO chemistry projects, And you have Lab equipment at home... Sure go ahead ? Otherwise, why would anyone spend the huge # Time and mess in their Kitchen, when we NOW have a huge Selection of quality Kratom Extracts available... at reasonable Prices... including 7Oh extracts... honestly you and I just don't have the Lab equipment ? OR the expertise ? needed to make this stuff. 💚

BUT! Like everything else Kratom... the Knowledge Base is on Reddit. wanna learn about Home Extracts ? Reddit has dedicated subs with recipe's, and some Pro chemists, Tek's and photo's and all. r/kratom_extractors
