I was thinking in the next couple-few weeks ordering some samples from mmmm speciosa just for a lark/out of boredom in general.

Do you think it would be fun or just a complete waste of resources?

Maybe I'll find a strain worth $75 for a quarter?

I'm sure I won't but they do have a Baik Bali, and that warrants the experiment by itself..

I don't even know who mmmm speciosa is! Experimentation is fun if you have the resources. I just wish kratom today was as great as it was 10 years ago. I think it's overharvested & that's why good reds are so rare. Let us know how it turns out.

Ok I'm getting Baik Bali (of course) and Red Vein Thai samples, I left the Plantation RMD for you one isn't enough to justify shipping really or I would just get one, thirty bucks...two ounces of kratom or dinner at some shitty fast food place....it's really not much money anymore, let's be realistic. Ok here goes! Thanks for your interest, L, I've read both awful and great reviews from people on reddit about mmmm, so let's see how it goes....

Twelve bucks an ounce seems crazy, but it's STILL not as expensive as the smoke shop stuff I started out on! (By the Ballz-metric, that comes out to fifty cents a gram, no wonder they never made the vendor list! )

Eight doses each, that's cool I guess.
Maybe they got me, maybe my mind is about to be blown, could go either way, and for twelve bucks, what's the difference REALLY?

I also got some of the Elder Tree Gold from DTE coming but like I said elsewhere earlier, maybe the Elder Tree business is bullshit?
Either way, I've been wanting to check it out and it's back up so why not? Hopefully it will be unleaded?

I forgot about mmmspeciosa! That was the first online vendor I used many years ago. They're pricey, but was substantially cheaper than the rediculous $1/g that my local kava/kratom bar charged. I didn't know DG was still around. He was my main vendor back in the day, but the last I heard he was winding down his business due to health issues. That was many years ago. Good to see he's still around.

Of course I'll let you guys know how it is and how it goes, maybe the Red Queen will be able to add to the mix if she feels like doing so, but mine is on the way (or will be before too long, I hope.)

By the way, it it's worth $75 for a quarter kilo, in these times, I will MOST CERTAINLY buy it.

I also got some 94.4% mit extract from Clandestine and some 77.something % mit salts from 7ohmitdistro coming late next week so if anyone is wondering about those just let me know. I'm trying (pretty successfully as of now) to lay off 7ohm and just keep a stash for special occasions and emergencies and stuff.

Everyone cherish your dads, I've been really missing mine this week, I've been listening to Doc Watson, Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs and all that old Cowboy stuff and it's kinda like he's in the room with me. And the Seldom Scene ..that was his favorite. He turned me on to Hank jr. who is GREATLY underrated. WAAAAY different than his dad, which is cool. All of those early country guys were buddies in those days.

I digress as usual, but call your dad and tell him you love him if you can because if you can, you're lucky for sure. Some of us can't.

I haven't tried any yet, about to try the Baik Bali (of course) now, I'll let you know how it all is.
They may be expensive but I LOVE them so far. Super cool. Now the important part ...

Check it out Red Queen! They sent me the Red Maeng Da anyway! (EDIT : I just did some research on their site and it's not PLANTATION Red Maeng Da, just Red Maeng Da, not the same leaf.)

So 100 grams for thirty dollars, just a little more than average. Really 100 for 23 and 8 shipping is the way it broke down, which is why it's only a little more expensive. Not 30 for 100 grams, 30 for 100 grams SHIPPED.

EDIT II : The Baik Bali is pretty damn nice even with my tolerance. I'm still getting that twang in my belly like the early days usage. Not sure about $75 for a quarter good though, it's still coming on so we shall see...

P.S I had an accident at work yesterday and a giant hanger (cut limb) fell on my head and it really hurt my neck (I was wearing a hard hat so my head was protected) but the pain is gone after taking the Baik Bali, so pain killing properties are excellent with this one.

It's early in the a.m. Betty and I got up at the same time and are hanging out together, I tried the Red Maeng Da and so far I love it. We are talking about a lot of cool things and it's a beautiful morning.

EDIT : we ended up hanging out and talking for four hours, and that Red Maeng Da was definitely a big part of the conversation being so fun. You know, AND coffee....

It was a super awesome morning, then our friend Pat came over for a while and now I'm doing laundry. Great morning and really fun kratom

(just imagine me in a barn with an old cheap reel to reel and my dad's hand me down guitar trying to make these sounds and understand the method of making music like this. I could only get so close though because it's pretty personal in my opinion....)

If you want something kinda neat though, get some mmmspeciosa samples. It's not that big of a deal money wise, I'll probably get a couple more at some point just for fun and they are really unique. Take it however you want

And I agree, treasure your dads. That one hit home for me! I miss mine so much. He grew up watching Hopalong Cassidy, and was generally very Clint Eastwood-ish in both behavior and appearance, and I also feel that way whenever I see those type of things!

It's just a type of extract, some think they are a little stronger, we shall see....it's either a salt or a freebase.
Salts are faster acting and not as pure, whilst free base is more pure and has more duration (chemically)
A salt can only be so pure. 85% or so.

Meaning, loosely, that there are more secondary alkaloids in the salts (which I find appealing) and the 94.4% is basically just straight mitragynine.

It's just two different types of extract, both have their positives and negatives depending on what you are looking for.

mmm was the first place I EVER bought from and my first Kratom experience so of course it hit like crazy. I’d love to bite the bullet and give it another spin but every time I go to the site I think “I could get so much more TFH for this amount of money” then I back out. But nice reading they still have a quality product. Keep us updated!

My dad died on Christmas day 30 years ago. Still seems like yesterday. I miss him so much! Growing up we lived in Buffalo, and for some strange reason he loved Hank Sr. and Johnny Cash. He never listened to any music except for them. I have no idea how he got turned on to them!

Speaking of mmm speciosa, they were one of the first vendors I ever tried way back in 2016. They were one of the only ones that didn't price gouge during the federal ban scare. I didn't know they were still around!

Ok I've been testing out their kratom all week interspersed with my usual ones and they are all pretty normal strength and potency, but the Red Maeng Da puts me in the most cheerful mood of them all. It makes things funny kinda in the way that pot does. I have three different kinds of extract laying around and in use so my tolerance is a fucking mess right now. I've been trying to escape my feelings a lot lately, in a depressed state.

And yeah MMR I remember in the early days they were right on top of the fight to keep kratom legal. I have a little bag of GMD that labdog sent me that says "mmmspeciosa kilo deal" or something like that on the back and "2016" I believe...I could be wrong on that but I just saved it for some reason.

My grandma died (they pulled the plug at her request after a final cigarette) on Valentines Day when i was in 5th grade so that holiday (or whatever you want to call it) is not any fun anymore. Girlfriends have been pretty upset about my stance and feelings about that day.

That GMD deal was fire! They sold 2 1/2 kilos of it I think for the price of one. It was decent stuff too and lasted me forever.

Today is the last day I can go wild on kratom, extract, and 7. I promised Betty (my wife) I would calm it all down starting tomorrow. I intend to do so. She doesn't mind kratom because it keeps my nose clean (literally,) but the rest...she's not a fan. I'll still use extract from time to time and I have a small collection of various vendors 7oh, but I can no longer use it daily. Couple times a week is the new limit, and she is REALLY against even that, but it definitely works...

Sometimes it just gets to be too fucked up and I can't handle it. I'm not made for some of the things that have been thrown at me.

I want to change them but I don't know how. That is what's wrong in a nutshell.

That is very sweet of you to say about me and an awesome compliment. You put a lot of your thoughts here as well. I know I am loved, you and h² and boureka (who I really miss and wish she was still about) and conscious conundrum (who I really miss too, she and I were buddies back in the day)
