I am starting business with the kratom powder from Indonesia, but from recent regulation in Indonesia, we are being regulated that seems like the "old" player can get the permission to send the kratom whilst the new and small budget player cannot enter the market. Furthermore, the new player that can send the kratom seems only link to the government or political party or very rich people. There are several procedures for kratom exportir to send kratom from Indonesia, may it be the background of: maintain the kratom quality or any other things.
On the other hand, i feel that these regulations are placed in place is to protect Indonesia not to being branded as the producer of the narcotics/drugs country and also to protect the country industrialization (it is a good thing though). It is difficult that many countries including many states in the US banned kratom because of safety concern. We (Indonesia) also used kratom but in a very different way that the regular kratom user does. The leaf are being brewed instead of consuming the powder. I also consume the kratom powder once in several days because the effect are too much on me. Furthermore, i dont have any side effects if i do not consume it (not becomes addiction for me). And I personally believe that Kratom should be categorized as recreational powder with clear instruction and formulae how to consume it.
Looking at this issue, do you have any foreseen sight of the future of kratom ? Do you think that the kratom itself will be regulated in the countries and being controlled by big pharma itself ? and: any advice for the new kratom business startup? Any advice are welcomed
