a question about storing unopened bags.

so, miracle of miracles, my split kilo from rva that a friend mailed to me here in mexico, has arrived, after three months. ha!

so my question is: i imagine that its been sitting in a warehouse somewhere in southern mexico, in the heat. one of the bags was opened by customs. the other three were not. what are the chances of it going "bad" in that amount of time in these conditions. i imagine that indonesia is pretty hot, and i doubt it is stored in air conditioned facilities there. anyone have any idea?

anyway, im stoked it finally arrived, but im gonna have a hell of a time getting through all of it in the month im gonna be here until i head to the states for the summer.

Ya, since its dry i dont think the heat effects the shelf life of kratom, plus, the milling process adds heat and sometimes the drying process also adds heat so im sure it wont effect it that bad. Ive heard some things about shelf life on kratom but not much, i personally have not experienced any issues with strains ive had opened for over a year so im sure youll be fine.

And an oz a day will go through a kilo in a bit over a month so you probably wont be able to use it all by this summer but you never know. If you share it with someone then you just might

thats what i am hoping. im sure its fine. maybe ill just make tea with those bags or something that boils it first, just to be safe.

there are a couple of people that i was thinking of introducing kratom to down here, as i think it would help with certain issues they have, but i am hesitant, as its not easy to find down here, and i would hate for them to find out it works for them and not be able to get it.
