Trading Post membership

What is the Trading Post?
The Trading Post is a hidden subforum on this website where users can buy, sell, and trade kratom in a private setting. It is not indexed in search engines nor available to the public, and only approved members can view/access it.
Minimum requirements to join the Trading Post:
- A forum account that is at least 30* days old.
- Quality, meaningful posts engaging with the community
- You live in an area where kratom is legal
* We understand that some traders want to invite their trusted friends to the trading post immediately, so the 30 day requirement may be bypassed if a current trader with at least +5 flair vouches for you. If you vouch for someone, and they are kicked from the trading post at any time for any reason, you will both be removed. We take vouching very seriously. Therefore, it is highly important that you only vouch for people you fully trust as you are risking your own access based on their future behavior. If you wish to vouch for someone, simply PM the admin herbalhippie with the username of the applicant you are vouching for.
To apply for Trading Post membership:
There are two ways to apply.
1) Go to your user control panel, navigate to the USERGROUPS area, and request membership to the Traders group.
or
2) Simply post here in this thread and ask to join.
Once you've been approved:
If you meet the minimum requirements (listed above), you will be added to the Traders usergroup and the Trading Post subforum will become available for you.
Once you have joined, it is very important that you read the rules, terms of service, and how-to guide pinned at the top of the Trading Post before participating. This will walk you through, step by step, how buying/selling/trading works in our Trading Post, how flair works, and our trading community rules. Do not make any posts until you have read and understand the rules. If you are unclear about anything or have a question about the Trading Post, you are free to message a moderator and we will be more than happy to answer any questions or concerns you have.

[Update 12/17/21] - The 10 post requirement for entrance to the Trading Post is being removed. The original intention of the rule was that it would encourage people to post on the forum and get to know the community they would be trading with. That way when they entered the Trading Post, they will already be familiar with the community and could jump right into trading. However, we've come to the realization that it has had the opposite effect. A percentage of people are simply making 10 posts just for the sake of making 10 posts, regardless of the quality of the posts. Going forward, the requirement will be changed to simply requiring meaningful interactions with the community, but will not require a specific post count.
[Update 8/07/22] - PLEASE do not request to join the Trading Post if you don't actually intend on using it. Lately, we've been seeing a lot of people request membership and then they disappear without ever conducting a single trade. In order to facilitate the most productive trading experience for all involved, accounts with no trade activity that go long periods of time without logging in WILL be removed from the Trading Post on a periodic basis.
