Ordering from indo
I'm just wanting some general information/experiences/opinions with ordering directly from Indo and getting it delivered stateside. I'm only considering it now, but I know now isn't the best time due to the added scrutiny by dea/fda.
Is it safe/worth the risk? Do the smaller (5kg) shipments get seized often? What's the fallout of that? Is it packaged discreetly? Is using certain payment options a problem because of rules...I know that's hard to answer here..was it an overall good experience?
Basically anything that would be helpful to know before pulling the trigger, or if it's even worth the lower price instead of going with trusted u.s. vendors.
I searched around on reddit but only found minimal information, and I've seen short reviews here but was hoping for something a bit more detailed from a neutral source.
Thanks,

Well, all I can tell you is, it's as discreet as it can be. A s***-ton of paperwork attached to the outside that says 'Mitragyna Speciosa' right on the front plain as day.
I've been thinking about it for a while, almost pulled the trigger a couple times, then decided to stay stateside.

Yeah, I'm really tempted but I just can't afford to lose money if there's any risk...but it'd be nice to know more for the near future; I'm trying to stock up.

Re: Ordering from indo
I haven't ordered indo, but I've read a lot of reviews on those buys, and one thing that gets repeated often is that if your vendor does the paperwork correctly, there are zero confiscations; if the vendor craps out on the paperwork customs snatches it like a lollipop from a toddler.
For me -- and take it with a grain of salt -- I feel like I have enough confidence to go ahead with an indo purchase. But that's only because I have studied the reviews both here and on Reddit to have assurance that the vendor I want to transact with has a history of no customs problems or confiscations. I too absolutely -cannot- afford to lose $200+ on a confiscated order, so I have delved into it as deeply as I can.
If you have a specific vendor in mind, the person you should really ask is Ballz. Dude's an encyclopedia when it comes to vendor info. He'll probably be along here shortly and answer you himself, plus he has a vetted indo vendor list on Voat you could refer to, but in the meantime that would be my suggestion: research the hell out of the vendor you want to do business with, and then cross your fingers.
Hope this helps. Indo deals are often the sweetest deals, from what I keep hearing. Good luck!

Re: Ordering from indo
gee thanks! haha Well 'tis true that I have ordered from a half dozen Indo suppliers .. which ain't much considering there's a LOT more. I hear ppl on Facebook complain about being mobbed, by anonymous Indo's however that hasn't happened to me.an encyclopedia when it comes to vendor info.
UPDATE: I'm now posting on SAIDIT: (The New Reddit!) so here's the Indo List: Top 20 Indo Kratom Suppliers for 2018
Of the Indo's I have ordered from, all had complete paperwork. The best ones used a typewriter on the multi part Shipping Form. Most are hand written, some more legible than others.. When dealing with a professional like Green Harmony (for example) you know that everything's in order. Again look at his website.
All of those listed, have some verified history. Most have US Vendors who stock their leaf. Most have a business website, I think there's a couple who do Facebook or Instagram but the point is, they've invested $ in a "real" business, they have a "real" business location in Pontianak. VLNT and Crumbs don't have websites but they don't need to advertise.
I think any U.S. Buyer has to first decide, what they want, and communicate to the Seller. Most kratom is good. IN most cases, you'll get good average kratom, for a very reasonable price. Don't expect to get some super potent "Premium" or Enhanced stuff the Top 5% best you've ever tasted... IF that's what you want, state that clearly... And be willing to pay more. These guys have literally TONS of good average kratom.. it's harvested in bulk, processed, and sorted into blends or strains.
These guys are NOT "Farmers" lol
I would avoid individuals who operate from a free Email account. They've got nothing invested. You can actually check business listings in Pontianak, if necessary. I'd avoid individuals who post huge pic's of boxes or bags in a warehouse. Reviews on Reddit or MeWe, are OK depending on who is doing the review

Thanks, Ballz! Good information! But I have to ask you two questions, just because I want to hear your opinion.
Thanks, and also for the great info above!!! Glad to hear you're back on Saidit, too.
- If you personally wanted the best deal on indo premium leaf, what vendor would you choose?
- If you personally wanted the best all around deal on good average leaf from an indo vendor, who would you choose?
Thanks, and also for the great info above!!! Glad to hear you're back on Saidit, too.

Re: Ordering from indo
[FWIW]Well, you should just go through recommended indo vendor list, they pretty much all have kilo @ USD 60-65, scaling up nice. I am enjoying my Kratom Crumbs leaf atm, its really nice. Other top vendors sell good leaf, too. It all comes down pretty much which of the website you like, plus positive reviews. No one's going to recoomend one vendor, i am afraid. They´re all good, price´s the same basically, devil is in the details which will differ
As for overall good experience, i wouldn´t expect the same level of customer support as you´ll get domestically from all vendors... if quality leaf for best price is a priority for you then go indo, if you want great customer support and speed of delivery though...
Cheers

Re: Ordering from indo
Thanks, Mythra! The reason I asked is because -so many- indo suppliers are getting great reviews, and it's getting hard to pick one. I generally don't need much customer support, though; in fact I doubt I've ever had to call or email a vendor for myself. Plus, I would expect that any indo purchase would take at least 10-20 days, depending on various factors, so that's not an issue either. It's more a matter of take your pick and cross your fingers, as far as I can tell.
But that's good information, and I appreciate it. Thanks!
