Happens to me a lot in various ways, but the most consistent - and troubling - is when I’m on the verge of falling asleep my jaw will snap shut and then reopen so quickly that afterwards I often question if it really happened. The lingering sound of my teeth hitting each other always freaks me out a bit and I have to check to make sure I didn’t chip one of them.

Does anything like this happen to any of you?

i to have experienced this some, although not as severe, for me its more like a muscle twitch, maybe in my legs, sometimes my arms, but sometimes my arm jumps ...its weird seems to happen at night only reallyand sometimes i feel like its on days when ive over-indulged, but not sure on this theory...

Definitely only happens for me at night too, and I’ve noticed the same correlation with over-indulging. Just the other night it happened while I was lying down and my leg flew up like I was kicking a field goal.

Yeah same here. Not a big issue but it happens sometimes, same circumstances for me.

i scoured reddit about it a cpl months back, it seems like it was fairly common from what i could find, no one seemed to worried about it, so i kinda said fuck it

Oh word. Yeah, I’ve never really been worried about it (except for the sake of my teeth) but it’s just odd haha.

When I first started with Kratom, and for months thereafter I experienced random "jerkiness" in the arms particularly. Not so much so that I couldn't ignore/control it and then it just seemed to stop ever happening for me altogether.

I’ve had it to. Not my jaw but in my arms and legs. With me I don’t think it’s overindulgence because I haven’t gone over 8 gpd in a couple of weeks.

Does it usually happen during the day or at night? It only does it to me when I’m starting to doze off or am already tired.

Interesting. I’ve been using kratom for 12 years and can’t say I’ve ever experienced this. Seems like from what you’re all saying I’d know it when it happens...kicking a field goal while trying to fall asleep! Sorry you have to deal with this! I will say though I’ve been fortunate enough to have always gotten along at lower amounts, never exceeded 4g at a time, so maybe thats a factor? Although I have been guilty of burning again too soon, haha.

Haha it was slightly hyperbolic but you get the gist.

I usually don’t burn more than 2.5g at a time, so it’s not that. Although I can definitely relate with your last point lol.

It seems a little more frequent during the day

I do but I have MS but I have never had that happen from just kratom, other supplements like phenibut can cause the jerking and twitching you are talking about though.

True story, I dreamed I was walking in a field.. like a school.. kids were playing ball.. A loose soccer ball came toward me. I ran up... Gave it a mighty KICK!

BOOM I woke up, had kicked the wall HARD .. almost broke a toe. Black n Blue toes next day..

I’ve never gotten it with leaf but when I used to take Very strong opioids for pain I would experience it almost every night, kicked my wife a few times well needless to say she kicked back lol, if I remember correctly it was called (myoclonus)

Sounds like nystygmus. Isn't that part and parcel with wobbles? I've never had either but someone on here (can't remember who exactly but it was in the past couple of weeks) described it as part of their wobble experience.

Ah so that’s what it’s called. I didn’t realize it was part of wobbles. Makes sense though.
